Watch some videos on the pose system of running mate, it’s a really great place to start.hey man! i stay fairly lean on those 10min miles.
also.. dont let 10min mile fool you... i'm a year+ into consistently running, and i am barely cracking a steady 9:30 pace for 6miles.
my wind was always suspect, but since i've picked up running, my overall athletic performance has improved.
i rolled in my bjj class last night for 2 5min rounds.. with a very slippery 200lb blue belt. i was breathing hard but not gassed.
i dont know what the fuck i am doing, but at least i didnt tap... at this point, i basically just hit guys in their joints with my feet, arms, whatever, to throw off their leverage.
i'm going against a 300lb 'overweight' blue belt tonight.. so see how that goes with someone that weighs more than me coupled with sound technique.
i started the bjj thing based on the martial arts thread and a video posted on the board about a PM member, big something davis... the guys lifts, does his cardio, and bjj..
so i welcome the challenge to do the same.
i know i know.. mother goose..
I started thus journey a few years ago literally with an app called couch to 5k. Having organized programming helps massively.
hope you enjoy your journey mate and keep at it!
