Tren and weight gain

I’ve been cruising on m test at 245mg per week for a while and during that time my weight stayed steady at 198 lbs.

About a month ago, I added Tren A at 175mg per week, cleaned up my diet, and increased my cardio. I’m sure i’m in at least a 1k deficit. Visually, I’ve leaned out quite a bit, I can clearly see changes in the mirror, waist shrinking etc. Despite that, my weight has gone up by 6 lbs, and as of this morning (fasted), I weigh 204lbs.

So here’s where I’m confused. Tren isn’t supposed to cause water retention from what I know. So what’s causing the weight gain? It definitely isn’t fat due to my deficit, and I find it hard to believe I’ve added 6 lbs of muscle in such a short time. So what’s actually driving the increase on the scale?
 
Roman Fritz stated on a podcast on prep when he added tren it made him hold water

Can’t remember exactly the reasoning as to why I believe due to the stress it can cause your body

Tren dramatically increases nitrogen retention and muscle glycogen retention, so I'd be surprised if you added tren and started losing weight. When you use it while cutting, in 9/10 cases, the initial weight gain is likely even though you're getting harder and leaner. That's why many people think they're building muscle by taking tren despite the large calorie deficit.

Do you want to lose weight or lose fat because these are two different things?
 
looking to lose fat, not muscle.
So why you worried about losing weight that much? You can lose fat without losing weight - recomposition really exist especially when you enhanced
 
Maybe your tren isnt tren.
 
I’m using weight on Tren currently but it’s not water weight. Looking more lean and vascular ever morning when I wake up. Eating quite a lot of carbs too. It makes me crave carbs. Just eating more oats and berries.
 
Didn't you say in your DNP thread that you weren't very strict on your diet lately due to carb cravings? Are you sure you're in the deficit you think you're in?

Sounds like your head's not quite in the right place, i.e. deciding which drugs you're going to take before deciding on a dietary approach.

Far be it from me to discourage PED use, but first things first, you know?

Im not currently on DNP and I don’t think I’ll use it again. I have past experience on it and found it hard to stick to a diet while on it which is why I think it’s just best to stick to a diet without it than fucking up a diet with it so it won’t really speed up the shredding like theoretically should due to my shitty diet adherence while using it.
 
welcome to the magic of tren man seriously its the only thing on earth that lets you eat like a bird and still get heavier on the scale. even though it doesnt aromatize like test does it still makes you hold a ton of intramuscular water and glycogen so your muscles are probably just blowing up and staying super full while the fat is melting off. plus it boosts your nitrogen retention like crazy so even if its not six pounds of pure new muscle fiber your body is just way more efficient at holding onto everything else. if the waist is shrinking and the mirror looks better then the scale is basically a liar right now just keep doing what your doing because you are clearly in that sweet spot where you are recomping like a beast. dont overthink the numbers just enjoy the gains lol.

I never really like to say anything like this because i think it encourages too many idiots to abuse it, but yeah.
 
Like others said— there’s some increased glycogen retention with tren. Something I also learned more recently is that the histamine reaction from tren can also make people retain significantly more water (I think it was dom Cardone who initially pointed this out)

So between the two, yeah water weight can fluctuate. But if you’re waking up and looking leaner in the mirror then who cares about a temporary water fluctuation
 
"holding water" is mostly a BS term used by fatties and should be reserved for women on their period. Maybe if you using some dbol, pounding kcal and estrogen just blew up. Increased muscle glycogen retention needs water. 3-4g of water for every 1g of glycogen stored. I don`t count that as holding water when its lean, full muscles.
