ok guys i hope to clear up some confusion regarding tren, people think that tren will kill your sex drive due to its progestaitional activity, which makes no sense, i hope i can make the right point cause i'm tired, so here it goes. every single time i get on tren my dick kills me i get super horny and my dick gets so hard it hurts, so i don't understand why some peeps say they lose their sex drive, people think that the reason tren lowers sex drive is due to tren turning into progesterone which is not true [if there is reference please post] if tren actually attaches it self to the progesterone receptor the receptor will not turn tren to progesterone; but tren will deliver an androgenic signal not a progestaitional one; neither will tren deliver an estrogenic signal. only enzymes alter aas not the receptors them selfs, for example i know wynstrol does attach to the progesterone receptor but it [wynni] delivers an androgenic signal. again tren does not aromatize to estrogen so you can only get both anabolic and androgenic effects in fact a new paper just came out tha shows tre actually is a very good sarm, so whats the problem with people getting a negative response to tren? well possibly they ether get fake tren or have heard people say that tren kill your sex drive and believe it and so it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy, so it may be all in your head. ok guys bring it on let me know what you think!!!! i hope i make clear the point i want to make.!

Your understanding of receptors and steroids is incomplete. If tren has an AFFINITY for the a progesterone receptor, then it has a chance activating it, and causing whatever progesterone-like effects that receptor normally causes.

wouldnt tren send a unique message to the receptor than another progestin? having some progestinal effects and various other effects

From what I remember learning, the receptor decides what signal to send, not the steroid that activates it. Tren for example has a very high affinity for the AR receptor, I believe about 5 times greater than testosterone. Tren doesn't make the AR do anything different than Test would, it just has a better chance of activating it.

It is not the hormone that directly affects gene regulation, it is the receptor-hormone complex, with the receptor playing a far bigger role. Progesterone binds to it's receptor and then forms a dimer with another receptor and that complex affects gene regulation. The progesterone kind of works to activate the receptor. If this occurs with tren then it would have the same effects as progesterone.

Everybody's different. I get horny as hell on tren, but I also have had gyno issues from it too. So go figure

are you saying that the receptors transfer information and not the steroid molecule? ok so if the receptor picks up a cortisol molecule, will the receptor sand an anabolic signal? after all the steroid molecules can't transfer info right? so when test attaches to a cortisol receptor what signal is the cell receiving? a catabolic one? that is the reason i posted the thread above to try and clear up some confusion, and help out my iron warrior brothers!

If test could bind to the cortisol receptor, then it would absolutely have the same effect as the cortisol-receptor complex. But receptors have very high specificity. Testosterone's affinity for the cortisol receptor is infinitesimal. Cortisol and testosterone are not even in the same class of hormones.

This is a vary general overview, but here goes:

The main way is it upregulates transcriptions of various genes. As with all steroids, test can freely diffuse across the membrane into cells where it binds to its receptor it forms a dimer with another receptor. It binds other various other proteins and is then transported into the nucleus where the complex binds near the promoter site of specific genes. The complex recruits RNA polymerase to the promoter and effectively increases transcription of those genes and subsequently the proteins they encode. The complex can also downregulate some genes. I believe it does downregulate cortisol production in some way. It's through the upregulation of specific genes and inhibition of others that it with shift the nitrogen balance within cells and reduce catabolism.

There is also evidence that test has a cell-surface receptor and maybe some non-receptor mediated effects. But I don't know much about that, and the effects are probably no where near what the traditional route has.

I ALWAYS HEAR THE NEGATIVES A BOUT TREN.. for me like every one else i comes down to dose.. if i take 200 mgs of tren i feel great.. i am horney as hell.. body changes almost in weeks.. no bloat.. no estro effects.. ect.. when i ventured into 250-300.. well.. i hated the stuff.. lol.. but tren in low dose (as stated above it is 5 times more andro/anabolic than test) is used it works great.. but many can not except the fact that that is all they can do.. and venture into high dose then complain about sides..
