Trens Impact on HDL and LDL

Got some bloods done whilst on cycle...

everything is normal apart from HDL and LDL...

HDL is low and LDL is high....i am running tren so does tren effect this much?

Im also not really taking any fish oils so im going to up them also.

Ill be off the tren in a week and won't be using it again till next year...any other suggestions on what i can do to improve my levels?:lightbulb:

The bottom line is all the niacin, almonds, avocados, fish oil, or whatever else you try will never out do the impact of tren. Now once you come off it yes stock up on these things but on tren poor diet or super clean with good supps makes little difference. I lose between 1-2 HDL points per week on tren and the LDL rises about the same. I think many others find the same impact. So yeah a little 6-8 weeks run can have a noticeable impact. Those on tren for like 4-6 months are really going to pay a price.

Would you take Niacin all year round...its something i've never taken before...

Also..on the fish oil side of things, whats the max dose of fish oils you would use per day?

I do take niacin year round 1000mg before sleep; any more and its face melting time. I don't know that there is a max dose per se unless you get really freaky and go past like 30G but yeah 5-10G a day is a good amount. I also take a statin in addition to all the supps. As such I also take coq10 and baby aspirin. Everything above is a 365 program for me as I'm all about heart health and trying to keep HDL up and LDL down. I've got terrible cardiac genetics so I do what I can. One could argue avoiding tren altogether is best and even aas is wise but hey we all justify what we do. All any of us can do is do it as wise and safe as possible. I will say this I use less tren less often than I did a few years ago

This has also been my experience.

It is good to take niacin and coq10 and things like that year round, but if you don't want to spend money for that, I'd only take it once you come off everything except maybe a little test. That way it could help restore everything slightly faster
 
A statin...what for? Did your doc prescribe you that?

I don't know much about statins, but I have heard some negative things about them. I would research them fully before deciding if you want to try to get a prescription

Hey saps, have you had your Homocysteine levels checked while on niacin?
Kinda a double edge sword with niacin.
 
Aspirin, Niacin (flush version) 2g ed (1g in the am and 1g lunch time), and Coq10 like others have mentioned. Take the aspirin in the morning with the niacin and that will minimize the effects. Then take some advil with lunch dosage. Usually after about two weeks you can go without taking the advil and not get a crazy flush. Also cardio (as much as you can handle). Tren will mess up your cholesterol big time no matter what. You can only hope to minimize the damage. I also take a statin even while on tren. I have had my LDL shoot up to 300 something with tren+winny in 6 weeks with HDL dropping to 15.
