Tricep muscle tear

Hi guys , after a fall Wednesday , i had my arm swollen, i trained Thursday and Friday and the arms is fill of blood. Yesterday my doc tell my after the echo that my tricep have a tear. I use nsaid , a gel cream for the swollen/blood and ice. Any advice ? In your experience after how many times u have retrained the muscle with tear ? Thanks

whats torn? muscle or tendon?
get a specialists' opinion if surgery is required as soon as possible.
waiting too long with such injuries is never good.

Muscle luckily, in the past i had torn my bicep tendon and the recovery is more long

This. No supplement is going to help it. Likely surgery then proper PT. I'd find a PT that deals with athletes.

Can’t usually stitch together the muscle itself. They usually only repair tendon insertion tears. Likely he won’t get surgery.

Damn a muscle belly tear? Feel like those are less common.

Sorry, I meant it wounding get surgery if it’s a belly tear. But I doubt that’s the case.

In my case the doc tell me that the surgery it's not required. I have to wait and use nsaid , a topic gel and ice. My arm is swelling a lot

When I tore my bicep, the first doc said we don't usually repair that type of tear. You can go back to work light duty. Second doc said, I can tell you're pretty active, if you want the surgery done, I'll do it. Point being, if it's possible to repair it, have the surgery.
