I went to privatemdlabs.com. No Dr needed. Then go to the nearest Labcorp for blood draw with the printed out requisition paper..
I Ordered the FEMALE hormone panel. (very comprehensive and shows estradiol which is important, estrogen blocks testosterone)

Ordered Lipid Panel (LDL:HDL cholesterol. Good to know your base)

Free and Weakly bound Testosterone (shows available Testosterone. hint- testing in AM shows higher T level, in PM it's lower)

SHGB (sex hormone binding globulin)

LH Luteinizing Hormone is important to know too. These tests have it all for under $250 and no ha$$le going from Dr to Dr before finding one that's familiar with this special issue.
Then do a bit of research on normal levels before you do go to a Dr that is familiar with HRT. The gel is a danger to family members. IM injections is more bang for the buck. But the TV is selling the patches and gel.
