TRT Before Having Kids?

Definitely want kids, 30yo male never ran test or any drugs

Anyone have experience with test + hCG? Wouldn't want anything crazy maybe 100mg week and see where results land

Is it something you'd push off 3-4 years and then go in?

I get the sense there's a lot of FUD surrounding optimizing hormones

Total Test: 495

I did have semen analysis (low, but not 0) prior to correcting varicocele 10 years ago

Ideally you wait til after you have all the kids you want... But you are on a bodybuilding forum so I say freeze some sperm just in case, and then shoot some test and take some hcg. You will probably be fine though

No idea what “FUD” is but your test levels are on the low end of the optimal range. I’d start the TRT with hcg.

There’s hundreds of us on here who have been on TRT then backed off to have kids, or had kids while on full cycles lol

FUD = fear uncertainty doubt, which I mostly kinda suspect of healthcare providers who don't accept the utility of TRT

I think I knocked up a couple wives in my day. They just weren’t mine.

Men who use test tend to have more girls than boys. May have something to due with testicular health.

Correct but many can run 200mg and not shutdown there test (though likely lower the production)

I know the Derek from more plates more dates guy got into TRT or fertility help or something to do with his knowledge on testosterone and he said he has helped several men return proper function while on low dose trt

I was on trt + hcg + clomid after years of blasting when my wife got pregnant second time. It took me 2 months (about 2g was running before that)

I used pretty consistently from 20-29. Got Off when we wanted a kid and had my first At 30. Second was about 3 years later. That took a us a little longer but my fertility was fine. 3rd I had been off completely for 2 years.

I used HCG and hmg for the first one but just HCG after coming off for the second. Third was a freak accident but she’s the best.
