Congratiulations bro! Nice to hear everything is fine! Are you quiting hcg hmg now or what is your plan from this moment?

Thank you!! I’m basically taking ~90-120 mgs of test a week. On Sundays I take 1,500 IU of hcg just because I have it and honestly it’s been kind of nice having normal size testicles.

I’ve lowered the hmg to 75iu on Sunday’s. Basically Sunday I do the hcg and hmg.

CONGRATULATIONS! Boys are great. Girls too but I grew up with all boys so I knew all that. The girls can be real head scratchers for me. As they get older, they recognize your humanity but until their teens, you're larger than life to them.

16 weeks tomorrow. All looked good on the ultrasounds as far as measurements and everything else. So far so good!

There are a lot of doc visits when you are a bit older (wife just turned 39). We just had our 20 week ultrasound which we had to go to a fetal health specialist due to my wife's age. Wife is in amazing health it's purely due to her age.

Anyway, everything came back 100% and baby's weight is ahead of schedule. Hope everyone is doing well!

As i'm writing this, my wife and i are looking at 4 separate pregnancy tests — 2 different companies and all positive.
We still dont believe it so i'm trying to relax and chill a little bit. i'm assuming she's about 4 weeks pregnant as she was supposed to get her period like yesterday. Still in a bit of shock but very excited.

I bet we take another test tomorrow just to feel assured lol Im the type of person who doesnt like "talking about stuff" because im afraid i'll jinx it.
So who knows. Very excited though lol

OH MY GOSH!! That is amazing...congrats! I was wondering how it was going for you guys. We took a million tests we were so happy and in shock. I like to talk about stuff but even I was like you when we got the positive test.

Plan is to kinda do what you did. I'm going to stay on HMG/HCG for another month or two, just until she gets past the 12th week.
Then i'll probably drop off HMG and keep the HCG in there for a long time.

Interesting, when I saw a male fertility specialist in LA back in January, i basically gave him my entire cycling and BBing history. He was super interested as he said he sees guys in my situation all the time, but only 1-3 BBers every year. He did tell me that I could get back on cycles AFTER this pregnancy thing IF I MADE SURE TO HAVE SOME HCG in my weekly regimen.

He said he had several cases of men maintaining their fertility (guys who went from 0 to say 10) even after they went back to blasting IF they made sure they took a 1500iu+ shot of HCG a week. He said i NEEDED to do it once a week though but said it was super helpful for guys who wanted another kid in a couple years.

My ex got pregnant, we finally started to tell family and close friends, and she miscarried at 13 weeks. I don't wish that devasatation on anyone.

We are keeping shut until week 12 +.
Im sorry and cant imagine how difficult that was. We are hoping for the best.

Question for the guys who have had bloodtests on HMG/HCG - does that have a maaajor influence on the LH/FSH in bloodwork?
I feel like ive seen people report BOTH sides. Guys who had pretty good sperm analysis with meh LH/FSH on bloodwork and others who have pretty good LH/FSH on bloodwork and meh sperm analysis.

I'm asking because ive been on generic HMG/HCG for 10 weeks now and had some bloodwork done last week.
FSH: 1.5L
LH: <0.2L

i was honestly surprised it was that low. Wondering if this means the HMG/HCG isnt doing a thiiiing or what.
Should i just cough up some cash an get another analysis done?

I had great sperm count and quality after being on hcg and hmg for a couple months but my fsh and lh both were basically undetectable. But I am hypogonadal.

It took me about 18 months to get good sperm but I started trying after 40 so that didn’t help either, same here my LH and FSH are gone.
