TRT patient with Arimidex question

Hi Guys -

Been on TRT for a few years now. Doc never tested my Estrodiol levels. Long story short I just had them tested for the first time a couple months back and my Estrodiol results came back SKY HIGH!

So I have been on Arimidex since then. First at .25mg 3x per week, then .25mg EOD, but neither of these lowered my E that much. Started at a level of around 80 and only got down to about 60 after all of the above... been trying to find the right dose for over 8 weeks.

It was suggested I go on .5mg Every day - so have been on that for about 5 days.. I've been feeling very OFF for the past couple days... foggy head etc.

So I'm wondering if it is possible that I cleared out all my E in 5 days by using .5mg ED.

Does anyone know how long it takes for circulating E to leave the body?

I know we all convert T to E at different rates... but is there a rough rule of thumb that says per mg of T you are likely to raise E but x%?

P.S. Doc had me on (1) 200mg per week shot of test cyp. To help reduce the T & E spike a changed to (2) 100mg per week shots... and since the latest lab results came back switch to .75mg 2x per week.

Jumping from .25mg EOD to .5mg ED makes no sense, yes you likely wiped out all your E2, 5 days is plenty. I'm very suprised .25 EOD isn't cutting it, what was your E2 level before an after .25mg EOD?

Are you adding anything else to your perscribed TRT?

After taking .25 EOD my Estrodiol went down to 61.7 pg/ml.

Of note: This blood draw was on Saturday PM. I took my last 100mg dose the prior Wednesday.

And NO NO NO... I am not taking ANYTHING except the Cypionate as perscribed by my doctor

Even .25 ED may be too much, it's a delicate line when you are using a very small amount of test and a relatively powerful AI. But jumping to .5 is a bit much, I'd try .25mg ED and get bloodwork done after a couple a couple of weeks, it may take a week just to get back up. I would err on the side of being a bit high over being too low, assuming BT isn't an issue. Very low E2 will kill your HDL.

BT? does that mean bitch tits??? Well what led me to even think my E was high was about 3 month ago I got this small lump under my right nipple... Did some googling and figured it was the start of gyno. So one blood test later confirmed my E was super high..

Took Nolvadex as that was all that was available where I live (out of the US)... That got it down...

Then started on Arimidex as soon as that came. Any signs of gyno are now a thing of the past and I can't find anything under my nip... is like it never happened (PHEWWW!)

Thing is I never felt that great on TRT - but the first week on Arimidex I felt like I did in high school! After that first week the amazingness subsided... but my sex drive has been much better since the addition of the Arimidex

I was told I want to be around 20 by an online andropaus group so that's what I was shooting for... The supposed sweet spot...

So should I switch right to .25 ED or should I give it a few days w/out any Arimidex? .25 ED would certainly be an easier dose to remember to take... I was getting sick of marking it all out on a calendar!

FYI.... I am asking these questions here because I now no longer have a doctor to refer these questions to.

I was living in the states when I was diagnosed with Low T started on therapy there, but have since moved out of the country to a very poor part of the world. Good medical treatment is hard to find ... nevermind trying to find a hormone specialist.

So thanks in advance for anyone's input - I came here looking for practical experience and the knowledge of any experts!
