TRT safe or not?

What do you think of TRT, is it safe or not? Can have a good recover from using AAS on TRT or not?

You are not going to have a lot of members chiming in here because:

-There are so many threads in this regard already.
-Your question is too broad.
-You're probably too YOUNG (like 70% in these boards) for TRT.

How old are you BTW? Have you been using AAS for that many years to cause a permanent shut down of your HPTA? Set up an appt with your doc, he's better qualified to answer all your questions.

Being on TRT is much healthier than having very low test. Emotionally, metabolically and cardiovascularly.

Proper TRT is the lowest dose to get the highest results. Using 300mg or so while not taking relevant supps, giving blood or monitoring your health is not good. 100mg or 150mg is a good dose weekly.

But TRT is not to treat anything but very low test. Try a restart or clomid protocol before thinking TRT.

Make sure you check your prostate (PSA levels) before starting testosterone therapy.

The change in PSA levels over time is a good predictor of prostate cancer compared to a high PSA level too. Just so ya know. a range of (.6 - 4.0) is a healthy low range. However if your PSA level is taken .6 today and in 3 months it is 4.0. Better have the doc do the tunnel grab on your prostate! eeekkk.

I have to disagree with your statement that only people with very low T should be on TRT. You need to take into account your T levels and any sypmtoms you may be having. Your T level could be within so called normal range, but you don't have a libido, tired, etc., and TRT may be a great choice. Why would you want to have your T levels at the low end of the spectrum and not do anything about it?

Safe is just a relative word. If you are using a doc, monitoring blood levels, and taking your test as prescribed then yes it is safe. As someone mentioned, prostate issues are the main thing to watch for those over 40. PRostate cancer sucks. No one likes having to wear a diaper. Do it right with a Dr.
