True nutiron protein :casein hydro or whey hydro

im not sure, ive been reading, but it sounds like the casein hydro is like a tw0-part protein.

the di- and tri peptides will be quickly digested, but the other non-hydrolyzed parts will act just like regular casein. Not positive though. Need brighter minds to weigh in on this.

Your right sorry, my auto correct changed it. I was asking how bad the hydro whey and casein taste, do they taste like bile?
What's the point of using hydro casein in addition to hydro whey, if casein was originally meant to be a slow releasing protein?

I've only used pepto-pro, so can't comment on taste of plain hydro casein or hydro whey. From what people say, the hydro casein is the real bitter one. Pepto-pro isn't half bad. Since it is realy watery and bland, if you use a citrus flavor, all you catch is a little tartness.

As far as the point of using them, this goes back to the hydrolyzation process, the amino acids will get into your system faster. Maybe someone else has the ino, but i have not seen anything comparing how long amino acid levels in the body stay elevated with either of these two proteins (probably tough to fund that kidn fo researched without it being biased). But just looking at it hypothetically from what we know about casein and whey, if casein keep amino acids levels sustain for a longer period of time than whey, but also have a high percentage of protein peptides, then casein hydro might be able to provide both sustained amino acid levels as well as being able to get amino acids into your system fast.

PLEASE - that is just speculation...but interesting none the less.

John is a Biotest athlete, and their products do not use PeptoPro but rather hydrolyzed micellar casein fortified with extra leucine, so I don't think he will be able to give you the answer you're looking for.

Assuming you took care of pre workout nutrition than intra is pointless. Even if there were an advantage it wouldn't be in hydrolysates.
