Trueprotein question

For those of you who use trueprotein, do you buy a premixed protein or do you custom make your own? If you customize it, what do you use?

I'm a younger board member (wont say HOW young) and I've been using ON for a long while just because it had 24g a scoop..ah, the joys of ignorance

Anyway, I'm trying to put some size on over the winter and was wondering what blend I should get. Thanks!

I use and like the TeamSkip blend it's:
34% Whey Protein Isolate Microfiltration
33% Micellar Casein
33% Egg White Protein

For PWO I use straight whey isolate.

I think it personal choice really, but for everyday use outside of workout times I think whey is too fast digestion wise. Whereas with the skip blend you'll should in theory have slower digestion times.

your better off just buying them seperate and mixing it yourself.... more accurate.... unless you get something like a team skip blend or something with mixed protein powders.

I thought you were asking for just the protein source PWO. I use my own blend of carbs PWO, a mixture of malto and gatoraide, creatine and glutamine, it's cheaper that way. None of the other fancy stuff for me, having been doing it this way for years and it's been working fine. If you're looking for good info on PWO, look at a book called Nutrient Timing. Good stuff there.

Edit: BTW, and I'll probably get grief for saying this but, I don't think extra BCAA's are neccesary in a PWO shake. WHey is roughly 25% BCAA, so a 50 whey shake is giving you roughly 13 grams of BCAA's right there. I came to this thought process after reading what Duchaine had written about whey being loaded with BCAA's

Any of the premium flavors are killer, I get the splenda mixed in. I like the banans' and creme and the dutch chocolate.

if you get BCAA's get a fruity flavor... i like very berry strawberry and watermelon...

for protein powder all the premium flavors are good but i personally like dutch chocolate the best.

I have tried BSL Vanilla, Premium banana bash, forbidden fruit punch, old fashion lemonade, strawberries n cream.

I also use their WMS, BCAA, and a few other things.

TrueProtein rocks! Products are top notch and I can't say enough great things about their customer service!
