Trying to help GF with weight loss

Hey guys, I've been trying to help my girlfriend with her weight loss, but things have been a bit tough. We've been suspecting she might have hypothyroidism, and possible pre-diabetes, so we just had some blood work done. the doctor says everything looks fine, but I have some concerns.

Firstly, her TSH is at 4.06. her last test was at 2.84. there was 3 years between these 2 tests, which was also when most of her weight was gained. From my research, high TSH points to low t3/t4 levels.

next, her resting blood glucose 111ng/dl. this seems a bit high to me, although not ridiculous.

My other concern is her zoloft prescription. I know this has been linked to weight gain, and its around when she started taking this that the weight gain has occured. This also is difficult because she has to avoid caffeine as a result of this.

We've tried dieting, and are continuing to do so, but the results seem to be coming much more slowly than they should be, sometimes we even see weight gain.

with these things in mind, do any of you have any suggestions?

Tell us more. Is she working including cardio? If so, how long? What's her diet look like?
 
Yeah, so we go to the gym about 3-4x a week depending on our work schedules. She will usually do some lifting(she's new so nothing crazy) followed by 20-30 minutes of cardio.

Diet isn't strict, but she is avoiding sugary drinks, breads, and candies. We will be eliminating pasta, rice, and milk as well.

She is also pretty active at work, according to her phone she averages about 2 miles of walking at work, plus lifting and moving lots of boxes.

Really? 20-30 min cardio? Gym 3x4 days? Diet isn't strict?

she won't reach any goal this way.
 
Have her try some Clen. That always works wonder. Find a sample dosage pyramid online. I find it best to slowly work your way up week to week and then back down.
