Trying to help my girlfriend lose a few pounds

My girlfriend has been going to the gym with me now for about 7 months on and off, meaning like 1 day here a week, 2 days here and so on. We had a baby a year and a half ago so it is tought for her to make it with work, bening tired and spending time with our son.
Before the baby she weighed around 125 at 5'2 the classic latina body hips, nice ass, and so on.
After the baby she got up to around 148 since she has been lifting weights and doinf cardio she has gotten down to 138. She wants to get to 120-125 firm. Problem is that she doesn't eat atlot maybe 2 or 3 meals a day TOPS. And she is a vegaretion (spelling). So I am thinking her body it thinking it is starving itself so it won't allow her to drop and more pounds, in addition I know she has put on some muscle since I try to train her semi heavy on the weights. She squats every monday (she loves squats) does leg presses, stiff legs and so on.
Her changing her eating habits or the amount of times she eats won't happen.
So I am looking for a short cut to get her to where she wants to be. Which is very flat abs, toned legs (which is the easiest for her to develop) and toned arms and back(which is the hardest after abs). As far as her abs go she is carrying some fat in the front (a pouch) and her wasit is pretty big I think last I checked like a 32 or 33. She wants to get it in the 20's like 28 inches.
What I am looking for is a short cut to get her to drop these pounds and tone up/get hard.
her only medical condition is she has a heart murmur and heart surgury at a very young age.
I have gotten her all types of supplement fat buners which have done NOTHING.
I was thinking maybe T3, but no injectables. What could I get her on to drop this weight taking all the above factors into condersation?

So it was so long I wanted to get all the info down.

For "the look" it's all NUTRITION "first." Gear helps you keep muscle while losing fat. IF SHE'S NOT EATING RIGHT, SHE'S NOT GONNA IMPROME - unless she has fantastic genetics, which it's obvious she doesn't :(

You say ECA doesn't work?!? I'd be concerned with ALL thermogenics due to her heart condition. I'd check all that out with a "sports specialist" before experimenting. Clen is my next choice, actually SuperClen. I'd steer clear of T-3 as it's way too easy to lose muscle and that's NOT what she wants.

yeah, why haven't you? is she not good enough for you to marry??
btw, her hormones maybe out of wack and that will make losing fat a nightmare. my wife had the same problem. she started taking progesterone cream from the health food store combined with diet and excercise and she lost quite a bit. you need to be realistic, she may NEVER get down to her previous weight. lyle mcdonald talked about a set point, it often changes after a pregnancy, as in it goes up. sorry, but that's reality. why do you think you see so many overweight mothers...
 
I agree with the previous posts about nutrition. She has to get her nutrition profile in check or no matter what she uses it's not going to help. Try to get her to at least eat more small meals/ day as this will help to increase her metabolism. Aside from that I would recommend Clen.
 
Hmmm

I think she has to really want it, and reach some sort of boiling point. You getting on her case or trying to help her is going to only work so far. Work on her diet a bit, and reward her for good eating, workouts etc. I would recomend you sacrifise a months workouts and let her train with you. Get her lifting 3 days a week, and cardio 4 days a week. Nothing burns fat like 1 hour of cardio 3-4 days a week. Lets say she lifts 3 times, does cardio 4 times, on saturday take her out to a nice dinner, and a movie or some sort of nice date. ANother idea that has worked for me is to buy my woman a dress 2 sizes too small and give it to her as a goal. Go into guess the clothing store pick out something sexy but small give it to her. Best of luck,

Thanks guys. She said she will hit the gym at least 3 days a week from now on. So we'll see. I will have her on the weights hard and doing cardio for at least 45 minutes. She said she'd try the Clen and NYC also so we'll see. I will post something after new years to let you know where her weight is at then.
