Already been said but I was actually reading a modern mens "style" article earlier. The guy was talking about how the most important thing was how the clothes actually fit.

No one looks good in baggy pants and a shirt that spills back over the belt line.

I went through this a while back. My staples now are:

Levis 541 athletic fit stretch. They are tapered but not at all skinny.
514s if I wear western boots.

All my shirts have to be stretch so:
Mens Express shirts- Their Vnecks are the best, as well as stretch Polos
Buckle
Dress shirts (athletic stretch) from Kohls

Redwing Iron Ranger boots or similar

I like those 541 Levis, they fit very well but I'm not buying anymore Levis now that they are paying their employees to participate in any anti-gun agenda the employee will do. It sucks because the jeans are like a perfect fit.

If you have uniqlo in the US.. I love it. I can wear all shirts and suites just out of the shop. I am 6ft 220 to 230pounds. A lot of super comfortable stretch clothes that look like good business clothes.

Otherwise i must get fully tailored stuff.

I used to wear big jeans and hoodie with running shoes because i would fit inside them.

I want to dress older, more mature.

lol im 39 and still dress nice in younger generation stuff. i just dont pick flashy stuff. nothing wrong witth looking good
