In the past 500mg was good for me as well. In one study 1500 mg was the most effective at lowering enzyme levels while 500 mg was the most cost-effective. Meaning there wasn't a huge difference between the doses (500mg, 1000mg and 1500mg). 500mg is also well tolerated but when you go higher it can cause people various issues. Now I just use synthergine as I feel it is a better overall product.
Preventative dose is 250-500mg and treatment/repair is started at 1000mg.
1750mg dose has been shown to enhance insulin sensitive and glucose uptake in the muscle only. But I would not recommend this as this is going to be very expensive.
