I grind Tumeric root and add it to my food while its cooking, its cheap enough.
But if absorption was a concern to me, it is a fibrous root that is hard to digest at the end of the day.
I would buy Tumeric oil, run it though a sterile filter... add some bz...
Absoption will not be an issue at this point. You can the monitor the effects of Tumeric and adjust the dosage.

I was taking about raw turmeric powder which I saw you mention. I failed to realize you were also talking about injecting turmeric oil (I skimmed your post, didn't see that portion). That's beyond what most guys really want to mess with, imo, but yes. Same is true with ResV and a host of other compounds.

You might have been the one who posted an article a while back comparing the different curcumin brands.

The problem is all of these are studied separately (not surprisingly) and so they compare them and it's hard to really quantify the comparison.

"BCM-95 shown to be 800% more potent than other extracts"
"Meriva shown to be absorbed 20x more than standard curcumin"
"Theracumin absorbed 6.7x better than curcumin with piperine"

(making up numbers here)

Throw on top of that the fact that they're done in different labs, testing absorption through different methods, and it's very difficult to make useful comparisons. Would be awesome if someone could study all of them at once and compare their absorption. Probably not going to happen though.

Curcumin is an essential supplement for me. In particular the brand VIVA.
I originally began taking it from tendinitis garnered from years of Brazilian jiu jitsu/judo and work (plastering is an aspect of my job)

Within weeks all tendinitis vanished and has for years. It came back when I changed brands, so I went right back to Viva

Can't recommend this stuff enough!

That's C3. If it's helped you that much, I recommend you try NavoSOL or BCM-95 types.

Good info. What brand did you take in the interim when it came back?
