Tuna-quick and easy-you can open a can anywhere---but is has to be solid white albacore in water.

sardines in louisiana hot sauce with ritz crackers and beer

Wow, so many great fish you can get. Mako shark is one of my favorites along with swordfish. Both are great pan seared with a little bit of carribean jerk seasoning and a fresh mellon and cilantro salsa. I love stripped bass and black sea bass. rainbow trout is good baked in a foil envelope qith white wine, lemon, sage, thyme, and garlic.

Cod for now.

Always catfish though.

Just got a local fish market. I need to give it a go i guess.

I live on shrimp and tuna, not canned tuna can't stomach it but raw sushi grade stuff is fantastic. Yellowtail even better. Cod or halibut on occassion.

Most talapia purchased today is farm raised and tastes like mud. And yes they are fed corn pellets which unfavorably alters the balance of omega 3 and 6's.

Do you happen to know anywhere where they are farm raised, yet in a clean environment with proper feed?

I didn't have much luck on google.

Yeah, I'm tired of buying Chinese frozen fillets... but protein is protein, $8 for a frozen pack that has about 160g of it.

For me starkist tuna in sunflower oil a natural source of omega 3 in pouch, Orange roughy and Flounder :D

The cheapest one I can find!! Usually cod since its lite and has good protein content.

Favorite fish are Cod and haddock. Get them fresh at the dock. Can't beat it in the summer. Need to eat more fish for sure. Flounder and sole are good just a little more $ than the other two

Can't eat anything but Albacore Tuna, I can't stand the smell of fish anymore!!

Lunch time, it's usually tuna. Lately, I discovered smoked tuna in the foil pouches, (Walmart). When I'm out for dinner, it's usually Atlantic Salmon or Tilapia.

I like broiled salmon

only eat the fish i catch, usually grouper and snapper, and will eat it fresh, like that day, but that's the extent. Love seared tuna, and fresh wahoo is better than yellowfin, IMO.

Forgot to add basa which I eat every post workout

For me it's whatever is on sale. I'm fairly lucky when it comes to having fresh fish, but when I don't I use a wholesaler.

If you know somebody who owns or works for a restaurant, you can have them order you a 20# box of IFF (individually flash frozen) cod loins from the wholesaler. where I am we have US Foods and Sysco, both of which carry the cod. The one's I get cost about 2-3 bucks a pound depending on the time of year. I know it's frozen, but it's still pretty good.

I don't think I ever want to eat tilapia ever again after reading the farm raised ones feed downstream of the other fish and are basically they feed on shit of the other fish. They eat anything but seriously they are shit eaters and this is not one of the best choices of fish just relatively cheap and there is a reason for that. BC you are paying for shit fish.
