I think this rematch will show us a much improved BJ Penn. I think Couture will give Toney an answer to all his trash talking via submission or G&P. I think the other cards will be good if not awsome as well.

Thing with Tony is you really don't know what he really thinks. The sport has become pro-wrestling on the trash talk side. Say anything to sell a fight. Like Ken Shamrock said after trash talking tito, something to the affect it's just business nothing personal. Tony is apparently training grappling and in reality might have great respect for the sport. Only him and his real close confidants know the truth....

Ever since Shamrock came back to the UFC from his time in pro wrestling, he brought back with him the theatrics of trash talking. At least the side show soap opra with the conspiracies are absent.

Unfortunately, I really think Toney is speaking his mind on mma. I dont think he has any respect for the sport and I really think he believes all the trash he is talking. I could be wrong, but i just dont think he is smart enough. I think he just shoots of his mouth without thought, but as you say, only he really knows how he feels.

Yeah, for sure.

Toney has a punchers chance, as always, but I highly doubt ANYONE is going to stand and bang with him, short of maybe Carwin or Kongo.

I'd LOVE to see Cheick Kongo vs James Toney.

What if Toney lays couture out cold? Could it be a stunt to get people intersted in mma? I know Toney is arrogant but why would he be so cocky in a unknown realm,he knows something we dont is my guess... This guy aint no street fighter bum that fights drunks on youtube, this guy is a pro boxer that has nearly a hundred friggin fights and has never been knocked out! I dont think he would take a risk for nothing....
