Fisher escapes and the two scramble back to their feet. Edgar with another takedown. Fisher wall walks back up and Edgar is looking for the takedown. Fisher avoiding the takedown attempts so far, but blamo - as soon as I say that, he's on his back again. Doerksen rolls and Herman is on top now in Doerksen's half guard. Herman landing some short elbows. Doerksen slaps on a triangle with ten seconds to go and also has an armbar but the horn sounds before he could finish either submission - both were very close and scary for Ed Herman. I had it 10-9 up until the end there, I'm not sure how to score it after that.

Round 3: Herman drops Doerksen with a huge punch and the referee quickly jumps in to stop the fight. That came out of nowhere. Big left hook ends Doerksen's night.

Should've been a free fight on spike as oppossed to a PPV.Still might not have watched it

So it wasnt that great huh? I didnt get to see it this time.
Sounds Like the Rashad-Bisbing was pretty dull.... Im starting to see a pattern there with them two :( Just to equal I guess.

Alexander Got KO`d?? Sounds Like He Got Man handled
Guess His weakspot was Just exposed. So Much for his Big Money days.
Maybe he can work on that wrestling. That would ABSOLOUTLEY suck to get MOUNTED and Beat Down in front of Millions of people watching.

Sounds Like the Lytle fight was good. I like to see his Fights...Seems like he is Always getting Robbed in some close ones though. Must have been a pretty bad cut for them to stop it.... Ive seen some they let go that I couldnt beleive.

I look forward to the next one... Liddel-Silvia, Hughes-Serra isnt it?

Heard Brock Lessnar is Fighting Frank Mirr for his first fight in the ufc.
That one is in Jan. I think.

MMA NEWS

Much appreciated on the indepth fight info. It comes in handy for those who cant see the fight and love MMA

Alin,
You can get that info from MMANEWS.COM almost as the fights are happening. Great site for UFC and other MMA fans.

guys i don't know if you guys a gree but IMO Bisping is just a marketing tool by the UFC to spread the sport to the UK. I'm not sayin he's bad or anything, he's just not as good as they want us to believe. I dunno just my opinion.

The sport has been big over here for quite some time, of course the english competitors aren't at the level what alot of the americans are but there's alot smaller pool of fighters to chose from and to train with.I do agree tho he's been forced down our throats to bring UFC back here and take away from cage rage. Dont forget bisping won TUF 3 on his own, the problem he has tho is that he's still training at the wolfslair which is a good team but he'd be much better training with world class fighters rather than fighters he is better than. Just look how griffen improved from winning the first series to now. Who'd have though he'd ever beat shogun? no matter what excuses are brought up, he did it.

Rajjin- UFC is in newcatle, uk in jan with bj penn x joe stevenson headlining (what is another poor offering for us over here) then mir x lesnar is in feb on superbowl weekend)

Another great place (IMO the best) for MMA news is www.mmaweekly.com

I thought Alexander was going to win for sure. I was very suprised to say the least. The other fights went pretty much how I expected. I think the Evans vs Bisbing fight could have went either way.

Yes I was very surprised & impressed with Silva...he's no joke

I thought Bisbing was training with Rampage and his trainer last time he fought Matt Hamill.

Man i was hoping Houston won. I'm a big fan of Houston. He has to work on more technique. You can tell he is inexperience. When he had Silva in the guillotine from the side control Houston should have not held on, as it's difficult to submit from that angle.

Also I never saw Houston bring his knee up to prevent Silva from getting full mount. He needs more experience and once he gets it I think that boy is going to be a killer cuz he's strong as hell.

But Silva is no joke. That boy is just a killer. I love him too. After his win, Silva does a "cut” throat signature. I love it. I'd like to see him against Jackson. Now that would be a fight.

UFC needs to ramp it up

I'd like to see him against Jackson. Now that would be a fight.[/QUOTE]

And that's exactly the caliber of a fight the UFC needs to schedule. The card as of late has been less than exciting. I want to see Couture fight Crocop or Fedor, GSP vs Serra or Hughes, and I could watch Forrest Griffin all day long.
They have the talent....they just need to showcase it more often.

I heard that.
I want to see some of the Big Names On the SAME card, then Ill pay 39.95 or whatever the hell it is.
Guys Like Rampage,A.Silva,Liddel,Henderson,Florian,Hughes,GSP,Congo,V.silva
BjPenn,Sherk, Fitch,Diego,Forrest,Karo..... All on the same Card. Not One or two Real good ones and the rest Just ok fighters.

well henderson is fighting anderson silva in may so that'll be an amazing fight. couture hasn't ironed out his problems with the UFC so who knows when he'll be back. As for fedor he'd rather fight tomato cans in M1, next fight is against hong man choi....who? look him up, lol.

Im sick of rubish UFC cards too but at least next month looks amazing (on paper)

Matt serra x matt hughes (huge grudge match)
Chuck liddel x wanderlei silva
sokoudjou x machida (fight of the night)
dean lister x jordan radev
rich clementi x melvin guillard (used to train together, another huge grudge match)

Dont forget bisping won TUF 3 on his own, the problem he has tho is that he's still training at the wolfslair which is a good team but he'd be much better training with world class fighters rather than fighters he is better than.

I thought Bisbing was training with Rampage and his trainer last time he fought Matt Hamill.

Sorry just noticed this mate. Bisping only trained with 'page up at big bear for 1 month before the hammill fight the main bulk of his training was/is with wolfslair MMA academy over here.

Still yawnin...

Had it DVR'd...Nobody missed much.
I'm going to have to stop wasting 40 bills till they have a card close to what rAJ mentioned before. The UFC monopoly doesn't seem good for the consumer right about now...not sure about the fighters...anyone know?
