I really like Machida, BUT everyone underestimates Evans. I think Machida is used to being the quick counter fighter. Evans is even quicker. Crazy quick. He is also a counter fighter. He is a bit of a prick but his skill is something else.

I agree. I have been wanting Machida to fight for the belt for a long time.. I love watching his fights personally. I want Serra to beat Hughes. I just dont like the guy and never have for some reason. But who knows how it will turn out. Should be a good night of fights!

I'm hearing word that this is Hughes last fight, and afterwards he will announce his retirement. A member at my board stated that Stephan Bonner was reporting that info.

machida: should be a good fight but i believe that evans does not have the striking to hang with machida in this fight... machida is an excellent striker and this will prevent evans from being able to come in and take him down forcing the fight to be fought on their feet where machida has the advantage. Machida wins by strikes

Hughes: This fight should not even be close. Hughes is head and shoulders above serra when it comes to wrestling and he will used this to dominate the fight. May be a pretty boring fight though because serra's jiu jitsu is very good and this will prevent hughes from causing much damage with strikes when they are on the ground. Still hughes will take him down every round and ride him out.

Sherk: Edgar is not in the same league as shirk. Both wrestled division 1 in college however sherk wrestled at a much better school and was more successful. In addition he is stronger and i believe too tough for edgar. Sherk by referee stoppage
