For the most part,if you dont have a name u dont make alot of money in ufc.Nobody that i know of make over $250,000 a fight and thats people like brock lesner, etc.Alot of fight only make 5-10 thousand a fight, most of their money comes thru sponsorship. They do throw in bonuses of usually 50,000-75,000 for like FOTN,SOTN,KOTN thats what the lower paid fighter try to get.

So you mean to tell me that all these guys get is 250 grand for a title fight . Thats it ! Dana White gets $50 per viewer . Average fights gets over one million viewers. Minimum 50 million dollars per show and all these guys are killing themselfs for 250. Are you sure about that ?

Chuck Liddell was the highest paid in a title fight I believe...500k/500k, which means 500k flat...and another 500k to win (a million if he was to win, and was the highest to date)...that was against rampage. Thats how all fights on all levels are structured. The low end fighter in the ufc was 3k/3k (want to say its either 5k/5k or 10k/10k now)...but think it has been increased as of late...Tito was the highest paid at one time when he was getting 300k. A fighter signs a deal for X amount of fights and the pay increases with each win. There has been alot of negative toward the ufc for the lack of pay these guys are getting in relation to what is made on each event. The post above is right...a huge portion comes from sponsorship. Ive heard astronomical numbers for some guys just to wear a shirt etc. I know fulltilt pays 3k to a Strikeforce challenger series fighter on Showtime in his first fight for a logo on the shorts and a hat on the way out, as well as a banner logo . There are resources you can find that give fighter payouts and total yearly earnings...but I know for a fact these are often not accurate. Bottom line is most fighters don't make squat...especially for what they put into it (until you are around it first hand there is no comprehension of what these guys go through). A very small portion make the money to live the "good life".

i know Alan the Talent Belcher personally. I know he got 40,000 for submission of the night for Dennis Kang fight. He got 60,000 for fight of the night against some japenese fighter. He has called out anderson silva or Vetor, He said thats a 100,00 minimum . They would have to negotiate that pre fight

They earn there money tho.. He is a beast for 185. He was 219 at a local fight last weekend and still looked lean. the biggest quads bar none including the 205 guys. He runs sprints and alot of plyometrics. squat jumps etc..

Yea they are right I was very suprised when I found out what they make. The highest paid so far now i believe was brocks last fight he got like 750k but cain got like 100k pretty fucked up. All there money comes from sponsorship and training others mostly. They use there name to make big fight camps and make money through those but still not living big. Dana White is the new Don King he is killin it.

What site shows yearly earnings for the fighters ? Does anybody know this ?:banghead:

I thought it was common knowledge the fighters didn't make jack shit for getting their brains beat out.

Couple guys at the top getting rich off their backs, not much in it (comparatively speaking to other pro sports) for the actual fighters.

I know a guy in FL that lives in a house with a bunch of fighters. It's pathetic, there are like 8 dudes renting this house (it's nothing spectacular either) with both gym equipment and baby gear in the living room. lol. Granted they weren't headliners but a bunch of low level fighters...still considered "pro's" and fighting in the major bodies. House was disgusting, carpet was like a camouflage rug of stains. I'd be highly surprised if any one of them were making $30K a year.

Unbeleivable !!! These guys are fantastic to watch and learn from, and all they get is a few thousand $ to get there heads bang in. Shame on you Dana White!:welcome:

Dana white n fertata bros r tha fckn devil.... they are soo dam greedy and have fckd over more than thier fair share.... u think its bad now?!?!?!?! this shiit is fckn MAINLINE and on TV!!! They makin more money now then everrrrrr before. when i waz doing this shiit 8-10 years ago i knew several top level proffesionals. They were fighting UFC undercards for $1500. And u got guys like De la Hoya takin 20 fckn mill for a boxing match and throwing in tha towel instead of takin tha KO....... when boxings old fckrs die off, thats when tha real money for ufc will come....its all about endorsements....

Not to mention that now, u have about 2 fights to lose and you r fckn history... they use u, terminate contract, and u will NEVER hav another opportunity ie- Roger Huerta is the biggest name that comes to mind...

thats why alot of the fighters are still fighting in Japan in Dream, and pride back in tha day was awesome.. They pay wayyy more than the US... From what i hear, exhibition fights in Dubai r what alot of the new good pros are doing....

UFC Pay

Their pay is not always based upon the figures released to the public. The UFC gives big fighters a percentage of PPV. The UFC does this in order to hide what the fighters really make in order to make it hard for other promotions to lure their talent away.
