Un deletable files

I downloaded some files from limewire using my brothers computer. I transferred them to a flash drive. However if you do a search for videos on the PC they are listed (titles) even though they are not there.

They'rein the reg...try rebooting in safe mode and try deleteing them.

You may have to refresh the index/database of whatever video player you're using.
It's been a long time, but I've see DLs from p2p programs finish but permission locks on it treating it as an incomplete download. I got rid of the remnants by rebooting in dos and deleting them there.

Limew wire is like Yahoo, aol, myspace, etc...... it is a program that is free to you, but supported by advertising... what it does when you download things, a lot of times they attach themselves to other files like adware.. they arnt really there, but their trail remains..
if you go into your C drive or however your hard drive is named, some people like to change drive name... look through downloaded files, and program file, you will be surprised how many you see with limewire still attached to some of them...if you have ever used aol or yahoo, you know what I am talking bout.. they are like cock roaches... it will take time, but you will clea them all out... go to remember and average computer had more than 50,000 files and programs stored on them, or atleast mine does.. so have fun and d I am sure you will be in a rage by time your done
