UPDATE FROM DUSTY

To all of my supporters for the first time in my career not only did I not win but I did not make the first call out. I was at my career best condition but the judges did not like what they saw. It is all good and they are professional judges and have earned the right and respect to decide.

I am not mad and I am rocking my diet for a HUGE shoot next weekend for the best sponsor on the planet iForce Nutrition.

That is REALLY surprising to hear based on the picture from Tuesday.Its just a matter of TIME we all know that.Unfortunately it just wasn't this TIME.

Dusty looked great but I think Todd and Max had a slight edge on him.

Dusty's conditioning looked great, hard and grainy... but it looks like he did some hella cardio to get there and lost some serious leg size.

They have some very good SHW this year at Nationals. Keith Williams didn't make first callout either. I am sticking with my prediction from last week for Todd Jewell FTW in this class.

This shows one of the bad sides of bodybuilding
-you can put all the work and effort into it as possible, more than most of the others, but it comes down to having the right parents
not much he can do about that wide waist

but it does looks like he cardio'd away some leg size, lacking some sweep

I have great respect for dusty.. awesome guy.. so i am not dissing him in anyway.. looking at the pics dusty was grainey as hell.. even shawn ray commented on that.. but i think he sacrificed a bit of his usual size to get there.. that may have showed the negatives such as structure that some have referred too.. the bigger he gets (without enlarging the waist) the less those things are obvious.. that being said, i still think first call out was in the cards.. the man is a freak.. and yes, i am jealous.. he is making a living out of this game and appears pretty damn happy about it.. his sponsor has a great rep..

I think he looked really good conditioning and the grainy look. But he may have lost some of the leg size from the cardio they still looked great though.

Exellent.

I think "grainy" is how everyone should show up. Dusty nailed it. It takes suffering and discipline to achieve that look. I think it shows who wanted it worse. He looks terrific.

On top of that Dusty is a great guy with a super attitude.
