urgent please help

hey i havent been on here in a while

i fucked up bad and im in serious pain

i accidentally injected a good amount of air with my gh sub q 2 days ago....its swollen , red and hurts like hell ...at first i thought it was a reaction to the gh but when i thought about i realized that i did it fast while i was leaving the house and accidentally injected air also ...

any idea what i should do ???? will it just go away eventually???

How did you 'accidentally' inject air? If its as bad as you say, you may just have to bite the bullet and go to the ER... good luck

Go to a Dr. What size syringe? I mean how much air could u possibly have accidentally injected? Youd have to inject a full 3cc of air directly into a vein for major harm and it wouldn't take long for u to realize it

well...were you in such a hurry that you neglected to swab the injection site with alcohol before sticking yourself? sounds like an infection to me and you need to get it seen to.

Yeah, for such a small injection to be that sore it certainly sounds like and infection. Maybe you did forget to clean the site. I imagine its possible also that there was some kind of contaminant in the air that you injected, but to me that sounds like a long shot. I dont know.

BTW, its amazing just how small of a break in the skin it take to get a bad infection. My wife once had a hangnail and somehow the tip of her finger got infected. Within 1 week or less her whole finger and that side of the hand was all red and hot to the touch. By the time she went to the ER it had begun to creap up her arm! SHe needed an IV drip of antiobiotic, and that was from a freakin hangnail!! INfections are nothing to play with.

I once had a bad abcess from a bad injection of steroids that I needed to hav surgery on. A chunk of my ass had to be cut out! I had fever etc, the whole nine yards.

Sounds like an infection or a problem with the GH.... Was it your first vial of this Kit?? the only reason i ask that is i happen to have a current problem with some bluetops that i purchased from a sponsor here and they are causing me Redness with welts and severe discomfort unlike anything i've ever had before with any other brand. Tried swapping over to sterile water instead of Bac Water and still the same discomfort and redness. Just switched up to IM today with these and so far no problem but very strange to get that side effect...just a thought

there used to always be air in the pin when I stuck subq with no problems ever. I was a freak about it at first, but slowly realized there really isnt any danger. IM is a little different. Although I'm not a doctor, as others have said, I would guess somthing else is the cause of your problem.

Air gets absorbed if its not in a big blood vessel its not a problem.

In theory even if your GH was dirty if usoing an insulin pin its needle is to small to transmit bugs.
