It's nothing new. This is UDCA, parent compound to Tauroursodeoxycholic acid (TUDCA), both ambiphilic bile acids. TUDCA is the taurine conjugate form of ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA).
TUDCA is more widely available and used in bro-supps because it's otc where UDCA is rx. SAME BASIC THING. If you have a source, get it. Run it with orals. Great for preventing AAS induced cholestasis.
I found UDCA to be the only liver support to actually reduce my liver values. I take 1000mg a day, and it dropped me back down into an acceptable range within a month of use.
