insulin pins=clip the tip off and toss the rest in the trash, 18g and 25g=recap and put just the needle part in an empty anti-freeze jug labeled (sharps) and drop off at one of the many disposal sites around the county that takes them, check with your local city/county they most likely have a program

break the ends and put everything in laundry soap container or other thick plastic and usually put some bleach in there i will even label needles and tape it closed... id rather give the garbage man a heads up.
