Using Accutane while on Test.. your thoughts

I am curious everyones thoughts
if someone takes accutane say 20mg a day or so if one was taking testosterone as well, would that just eliminate the problem with acne all together or just slow it down?

i know accutane is quit harsh so

Heh, I have non-steroid-induced acne. Just really fucking bad genetics. I take 50 mg 2x/day and have been since bumped up to 70 mg 2x/day by my doc. She actually says that muscle tissue tends to metabolize the stuff a lot faster than most tissues, so a bigger guy like myself can easily demolish a dose that would suit another person. That being said, you can really risk overdose on yourself if you have to keep upping the dose. This stuff also messes with your LDL and HDL cholesterol levels in a very negative way; compounding that with test and whatever else is a bad idea.

IMO, if it's a problem, just spend the $30-$40 and see a dermatologist. He/she may have a much less draconian way of getting your acne under control. For a while Differin gel and some tetracyclines controlled it just fine for me.

There's no problem in using accutane while on cycle (unless you are on heavy orals already). Been on it 10mg/day while on EQ, Test E, Primo and it did wonders. Suggest to start at 20 and see how you feel, all those sides from it are well overrated. I use tane on and off for 4 years now with great results with 10 to 40 mg/day.

Go for it it's gonna clear you up completely, and use lip stick and sunscreen when tanning.

I was on my 4th month of accutane @ 20mg ED and in the middle of a Sust/EQ cycle and my blood work was perfect according to my doctor. No sides from accutane either other than initial breakout.

taking accutane will prevent any accumulation of acne whatsoever even taking 500mg of test

i was on test and got acne on my back only
but it looks bad

Low dose accutane on cycle works better than anything else. 10-20mg a day is all you need. Preload the stuff for a month before to get use to it and get through the initial breakout which is possible. Then start the cycle.

As long as bloodwork comes back fine plenty of guys mix orals in with it. Though that is not a wise decision.

Injectables and accutane are fine.
