Using Expired Insulin?

how many of you guys had continued to gets results with expired slin?

mine expired in december and it seem to be just fine but yesterday after i tested my BG I'm starting to question how effective it is.

I've only been using it for two weeks a few IU post workout.

I've def noticed it loses some of its kick

It's still good, but can lose some of it's potency as was mentioned earlier. You may have to use a bit more as a result. Glad to see you are using a glucometer to track bgl levels.

I personally wouldn't do it. Insulin with turn crystalline and downgrade quite rapidly after it's expiration date

I've used expired slin before, no problems.

I have been a diebetic for 20 years now on insulin and have used expired insulin many times and noticed no difference in glucose levels while using it. I am talking months over the exp date not years though.

As long as it's still clear. If it turns cloudy I'd chunk it.

Using expired insulin is 100% fine doesn't lose any "kick". My fiance is a type 1 and does it all the time. Use away.

Since this is a relatively recent thread I'm going to jack it quickly lol - where do you guys get your insulin from? I am interested in utilizing it on refeed days but have no inkling how to get it
