I give my wife a card as we say we don't exchange gifts to eachother and the kids pitch in and give her a day at the spa . Which is nice of them since they are 5 years and 11 months i need their jobs.

Cooking dinner for my girlfriend consisting of black pepper crusted filet mignon with toasted goat cheese and twice cooked red chile sauce, steamed lobster, caesar salad, and twice baked potatoes.

I have to work today.. But im still gonna do somethin for the girl... I got her a sunflower/rose arrangement from the florist.. Sunflowers are her favorite.. I never just go with straight roses.. Then im going to cook her dinner.. Penne Vodka.. Here is a good recipie if anyone is interested.. I usually add less pasta and put cooked shrimp with the pasta..

PENNE PASTA WITH VODKA SAUCE

1/4 lb. diced pancetta (Italian bacon), i used lower fat regular bacon
1/4 c. butter
2 scallions
3 cloves garlic
1/3 c. vodka
1/2 c. freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 lb. penne pasta
1 1/2 c. heavy cream
1 1/2 c. tomato sauce

Melt the butter in a large frying pan and saute the scallions and garlic. When the butter foams, add the diced pancetta. When the pancetta browns slightly (takes 2 to 3 minutes), add the vodka and stir.
After the alcohol burns off, stir in the tomato sauce and cream (the alcohol only takes a minute or two to burn off).

Stir continuously for 5 - 8 minutes. Place drained pasta into frying pan, add Parmesan cheese, and mix thoroughly for about 2 minutes.

Serves 4 to 6.

Well my plans don't matter cause I think I got dumped. She went to see her family yesterday and hasn't been back. Doesn't answer the phone and sends me a text saying she's staying there again tonight. So whatever, I'm here with the dogs eating frosted cookies and playing madden online

I took my wife for sushi and actually took the whole family, including my mother-in-law. Their steak teryaki is delicious.
