Vegas

Gotta go to Vegas for a few days this month. I'll be staying at the MGM. I used to go crazy in Vegas but I'm not partying these days and want to maintain my training intensity.

I understand there are some good Gyms out there. Any opinions on where I should go? I'll search thru the archives, but appreciate any tips.

City Athletic Club has some nice equipment, that's usually where I train when we go out there.

The MGM.. will have a gym
That will be suitable for your needs..
Also, if you look.. you can easily find super healthy options along with protein RTDs...


People think Vegas is all party but with a little effort ..
You can easily keep up on a god diet and training ..
(May be a bit expensive tho)

I workout at LVAC Summerlin and Eastern(closest to you). Has sauna, pool, steam room as well. You can get a free day pass on their website or go with a member and we can get you in free.

The eye candy is great btw.

There's a Gold's in North Vegas about 20 mins from the strip. Great gym. Huge but still had a local gym feel to it. Few years back I did the whole Olympian weekend thing I was there about a week. The vast majority of the competitors all trained there the whole week before. What a great time, people didn't try to talk to them out of respect. Even so was an amazing atmosphere to work out in. Met a ton of people. Plus the expo during the day had everyone walking around talking to all the fans.
But anyway Gold's in North Vegas was the bomb!

LVAC gets too packed with groups of teens that hang out and BS. 24 hr fitness or EOS is probably the way to go imo. They're all over town too..

I couldn`t find a gym last time I was in Vegas. Kept getting distracted by young titties Hakkasan at MGM was nuts.

I used to train mostly at EOS when I lived in Vegas. Cheap and decent.

Just stay on the strip and use the hotel gym. Most of them are pretty good. I'm guessing with all of the sporting events (UFC) hosted at MGM, their gym is decent. Mandalay Bay's gym across the street isn't bad either.
