Ok I managed to do a photo shoot on locating my ventrogluteal injection site lol. If i am correct, if you repeatedly shift your weight from one foot to the next the muscle will bulge. Is this correct? Have i successfully located the site? Please confirm.

That looks about right, maybe a bit high up and too close to the illiac crest (the top of your hip bone). Just jab the side of your ass, a bit lower. I do it about in the middle of the side.

Everyone is pretty much right here. When you sit down the area does bulge out a bit so that's how I always did it when I did VG, sit down and poke the bulge on the side of the hip

You did it whilst sitting down? Was the area relaxed in that state? I was gonna jab while doing the bruce lee one leg pistol.

Its more in the front than the rear??? Ive been pinning for a while near the front. I have less pip in this muscle than any. btw: this pic is not of me.

Yeah its more forward I suppose than it is backward.
And yes I always do this sitting down so the muscle is relaxed

I do the base of thumb on hip bone and between 1st and 2nd finger also as you said move around and kinda flex and you will see it buldge
