Vertical Leg Press - Anyone train on one?...

Thougth I would add this too, as it looks very neat, along with a lot of the other pieces at strengthequipment.com

Nice leg press, if I had the room I'd consider getting one of these for my weight room. They also have a vertical leg press at that site, but it is loaded from the top. BTW, the link to that web site that worked for me is strenghequipment.net.

I do like that one, except for maybe the neck position (looks a little too flexed).

I've got the AFS vertical leg press on the way now - ought to be here in a couple days. :)

Nice. I'd been looking at it for a while for me gym, but shipping was a bitch.

I'm still searching for a pendulum squat machine too, if you come across one for a good price!

Yep! Its arriving Friday, actually.

I see you already made a purchase. I just found this TK Star on ebay but the owner does not seem to want to ship.

My buddy had one we used to use years ago in his basement. I remember it being more stress on the low back than the traditional incline ones. Just me but I much prefer the ones that aren't straight up vertical.

I have just joined a real old skool gym close to my home. Didint even know it existed and my mouth dropped when I saw the guy had a vertical leg press machine.. This one wasnt a brand name constructed by a local machine work shop and it was great. I tell you, if you cant afford to buy one and knows someone who is great with welding etc, get your own made. ;) IMHO.

Hey, man, just saw this - thanks for posting.

He actually might ship, if you ask him. (Same was said for my last purchases on ebay, but they would ship if you helped located shipper.)

I'm still waiting - shipping delayed, but I should have it... Monday!!! LOL

THat equipemnt you mention is the best! THe old gym I lifted at had all of that. THe standing calf was exceptional. I dont understand why nobody else has made standing calf machine with the parallel bars there for forcing out reps. His seated calf was the best ive ever used also. All of parillo's benches seemed to have the arched top on them. It put you in perfect position, really helped take my shoulders out of the movement and could feel it more in the chest. Anyone that has a chance to buy some of this should jump on it.

The last time I looked at this seller on ebay a couple weeks ago he had a Parrillo T bar and a leg curl. He still has a leg extension for now.

holy crap

It seems the manufacturer that made the Parrillo equipment still makes stuff. He has for sale a reverse hyper and a GHR.

I've tried doing vertical lp's on smith machine. You have to be pretty careful though.

I was just banging around craigslist and found this listing for a squat rack and tbar row in Georgia. It doesn't say so but the tbar is a Parrillo.
