I wanted to share this....

I competed for my first show in 2002 and have done shows every year since..

And actually after my first show .... I had planned to stay much leaner off season but... as you can see.... that didn't happen..

I gave myself about 14 weeks to get ready for the show and needed every bit of it!....

I thought this turned out pretty good considering i didn't know what the hell i was doing back then... I know i have come a long way with my off season condition and my prep.

I just wanted to share this from my second show i competed ....Which was at the Junior Cal in Pasadena Calif.. it was a good experience.. I learned a lot..

Great Transformation Alex. How much did you weigh in your fat pic and then your competition pic? How did your placing go at that show?

Did you prep yourself or you hire Tom Prince? (couldnt remember you mention some Pro name?)

I weighed about 200lbs in the before pic and 150lbs in the after pic

I did the prep my self..

Double cardio sessions and lots of suffering!

I got help from Tom in 2005 when i did the USA for the first time...

I have come a long way though.. i started following a good off season plan and really put an emphasis on preparing for my shows all year long

I started weighing my food, training diligently and adding cardio to my off seasons.. My condition eventually got to here..

at that show show I placed first out of 8 in my class.

I was eating about 40 grams of carbs per meal for 4 of my 6 meals per day.. lots of green beans and brocoli... plenty of protein.. i didnt budge! not one cheat meal.. not a single thing off my diet..

That's exactly what I am doing. Not one cheat meal !! Dedication, Determination and Focus and patience is the real key!
Diet is what makes the body....

Also the best Transformation I have seen! High praise to you Alex...

thanks! and i worked hard on those bodyparts

on stage legs really get noticed.. and shoulders too.. standing from the front and facing the judges...judges see it all.. once you start doing your quarter turns and mandetories there is no hiding your weaknesses so you have to address these all year so when you get on stage.... you have nothing to hide!
 
very inspirational............. gurus like you create such high standards.. man this is simply awesome..... i just went through your bio on your site it was stated that you are just 5 pounds heavier than your contest wt.... how do you do it man..... do you undergo unly 2 to 3 weeks of precontest prep ?
