Volume loss in my face

Looking for some honest feedback from guys who’ve been around the sport a while.

After my last cut (March last year), where I got very lean, I feel like my face aged fast. I lost a lot of facial volume and now my cheeks look hollow and my skin looks loose. Even after putting weight back on, it hasn’t really bounced back.

In pictures I look noticeably older than I used to. It’s not just “lean face” — it looks like actual volume loss and skin laxity.

I’m at a crossroads. I love being big and strong and staying on gear, but not if it means looking 10–15 years older in the face.

I’m wondering if something from that cut contributed:

  • BAM15
  • Tirzepatide
  • GH
  • Minoxidil
  • or just getting extremely lean + dieting hard

I’m debating whether I should:

  1. come off completely and let my body normalize to see if it bouces back
  2. stay on and be patient.. (try dose)
  3. or if this is just the cost of pushing low body fat at 40+

For reference, I’m thinking about the more drawn/aged facial look you see in guys like John Jewett or Todd Lee. Very pronounced nasolabial folds.

Has anyone experienced permanent facial fat loss or skin looseness after a hard cut or certain compounds? Did it rebound or was it basically permanent?

Thanks

Well, you could get filler. I'll be honest, I've thought about it. I've already done botox, so I don't care if its vain, or "metrosexual" or whatever. The problem with filler is that it can make you look fucking weird, like you've obviously "had work done". Especially if you do too much. You see it in Vegas a lot. Men and women that look like those puppets from Mr. Rodgers neighborhood.
There's also a sponsor here that sells it, if you want to save some money and really fuck your shit up, lol. You can inject it in your dick too and have a fucked up face and a deformed dick (I thought about it).

*sigh*
Anyway, I feel your pain. None of us want to look like Todd Lee.
What's really shitty is that I'm not even big anymore and I still have "steroid face". At least my wife loves me...

I noticed this in my 30s...I think from a combination of extreme dieting, staying lean, then running aas. I went to one of those docs he said that was the reason, best they can do is pull fat from the body inject those nasolabials...but he said I didn't have enough fat on my body even on my ass it wouldn't work.

Seems to have corrected some...im the same weight/bf but on less gear and eating about 500 calories more than back then and feel Much better. Also less overall mental stress in life and my training has scaled back to focus more on recovery...also getting wayy more sleep.

Steroids age your face prematurely. I dont know if it happens to everyone, but it certainly happened to me.

Yea its shitty but oh well. It could also be combination of things.

How old are you? Its possible your at an age bracket where you have a sudden spurt in aging. According to a new study, you have an aging spurt at about 45 years old.

I used to look about 10 years younger in my late thirties. I began juicing at about 39. Im now 48 and I look a lot closer to my real age then I used to. ( I also partied a lot on rec drugs too)

Are you on oral or topical minoxidil?

All androgens cause collagen and elastin loss. Which will cause skin sagging and older looking skin given prolonged exposure if nothing is done to mitigate androgens at the skin, like using a topical Anti Androgen like Winlevi which is made for skin.

Tirz just helps you stick to a diet for the most part, which could have contributed you getting leaner this time than ever before.

Don't think BAM15 would've done anything apart from speed up the process at which you get lean.

GH would probably have no effect or cause water retention depending on your dose and has skin benefits, but those benefits will not outweigh the effect androgens are going to have on your skin

This is the sacrifice we make. It can be worse on women. I've dated many women BB's and most choose to be shredded and not worry about it. Part of the lifestyle.

@F0cus was this the least (during/post cut) you had ever been?
To me it just sounds like you dieted hard enough to pull the very hard to get fat off of your face. You basically had baby fat, fat that had been there you ENTIRE life, still on your face and you lost it. Its similar to what happens to guys who get shredded glutes for the first time. its literally the laaast fat to go, fat they've had there for their entire life...and then its gone...and because bodyfat distributes differently after you've lost it, fat didnt go back to your face. It's that simple.

Just grow a beard man.

If not you only have limited choices

Get a face lift
Get fillers
Oh accept what you look like and don’t over think what others think.no one pays your. Bills. If you have a partner and she loves you and the family too the way you look. Then who cares really.

I mean we made the choice to use gear to look good or big whatever each one’s reasons where. Well nothing good comes easy and with some type of repercussion

Wish you the best 👍

Turn on tv and look at the Real house of ( any place) all have oz face! and worst all of their face filler inj sites now show the lumps LMAO !

My girl watches that crap !

GHK-CU, collagen protein powder and hydration. Also increase your zinc and selenium intake.
