How many guys here wake up in the middle of the night to have a meal? Do you feel it benefits you?
 
I don't purposely wake up to eat but I wake up almost every night to pee and ill have a shake when I do
 
If I wake up hungry I have a few bites of dry curd and one of nut butter, that does the trick
 
I tend to believe a good undisturbed 8 hours or so of REM sleep will benefit you far more than purposefully waking yourself up to eat, and therefore disturbing that much needed sleep. Hit your macros during the hours you're awake, rest and grow during the hours that you sleep

All the top pros use IV nutrients during their sleep to prevent from having to do this.

True. I've heard of guys buying their own IV machines, similar to ones in hospitals for greater protein synthesis during REM sleep.

Yea I wake up 2x every night, not by choice. I'm starving and have to piss. Once about 1 am and again around 3-4am. I have a premade whey shake and some natural peanut butter at 1am, nothing the 2nd time.
 
High dose tren makes me wake up STARVING for fuel. But if i didn't wake up in hunger I wouldnt set an alarm to wake me up, thats silly.
 
If I wake up so hungry I can't sleep I will drink a casein protein shake
 
I'm a father of two boys (4 years + 1 year) and I workout at 5am so I can be home with them in the evenings so if I can get 4-5 hours of uninterrupted sleep I'm not waking up for a meal of powder.
 
I can't get through the night without waking up starving. I have a shake mixture beside the bed with whey, milk, and cream of wheat. Shake and drink and snooze. Sometimes I do get through the night but not often.

I have nonfat greek yogurt + peanut butter+ chocolate whey. Delish.
 
I do 15g bcaa if I wake up to pee. Works wonders in staying anabolic and lean

I wake up to use the restroom and I always am starving. So I will eat or just have a shake.
 
Usually get up to piss once and I'll mix 1/2 cup non fat cottage cheese with some cinnamon..maybe a lil applesauce too. Good stuff.
What's with the peanut butter in the middle of the night..doesn't that just lay in your stomach? Why the fats?
