Waking up to eat

I have a milk protein shake in the middle of the night when I wake to piss. If I didn't wake to piss I wouldn't lose any sleep over it though. Don't think I've gone a night without pissing in about 10 years though lol. I certainly wouldn't set an alarm for it though, I would just trickle feed it into next days macros if I slept through, like an extra 8g protein per meal.

Usually get up to piss once and I'll mix 1/2 cup non fat cottage cheese with some cinnamon..maybe a lil applesauce too. Good stuff.
What's with the peanut butter in the middle of the night..doesn't that just lay in your stomach? Why the fats?

Peanut butter good at any time:). I can't have it in the house. Once I start I can't stop, most addictive thing there is for me

I've struggled with waking up at least once a night starving for something sweet. If I'm trying to cut, it's at least every 2 hours, makes it hard to get good sleep. Even if I take an Ambien, I'll get up to eat and not remember, but find like a half eaten something in the bed with me.

But lately I've been waking no more than once a night, if that. Only thing I've done different is cut out almost all artificial sweetners, and diet drinks. I'd heard theories that it leaves your hungrier than if you'd not had them at all, but kind of shrugged it off. That and I increased my water intake to at least 1.5 gallons a day, instead of 6 or 8 diet sodas

There's almost nothing better then pb when you are hungry.
