I've been strongly considering doing a local meet in the future. It'll be my first ever meet. However, I've never trained strictly for powerlifting before. I was my strongest on D.C. Training. Back then my best lifts were: squat: 585x3, deadlift: 560x1, decline bench: 365x3.
Right now, my 1rms for squat, deadlift,and bench are about 515,500, and 335 respectively.
I've been looking and in this league the records in 220 are a 600.5 squat, 375 bench, and 670 deadlift. I think if I train specifically for it I can set the bench and squat record if they don't change for the next year.
With that said what do you guys think are the best programs to get to those numbers?
