Warm-up shows

Whats your guys take on doing a warm-up show, as long as your not trying to peak and dropping water, etc. I have a show 3 weeks away (my main show), and thought about doing one next week just to get in some solid posing time and work on my stage presence and routine, but I dont want to risk/screw anything up. I've got a few mixed reviews and just wanted some of your guys input.

I am doing my first warmup show this year, a week before my main show...I think it is very good to do because you can mess with your supps and diet up to the show...I wouldnt mess much with water though..By that I mean dont drain yourself too much...Remember what you are using the show for...Good luck

why do a show if you are not going to be at your best? No reason to get on stage unless you plan to win it! You can work on your routine and posing while not doing a show. Just my 2 cents.

I believe that it can be beneficial to do a warm up prior to the main show as far as trying to get water, carbs, etc right with it still being three weeks out and not screw things up for the intended show. I'm also with the agreement that was mentioned that you shouldn't do a show if your not ready to get on stage. I can see mainevents thoughts with getting comfortable on stage with going through his mandatories and rountine (especially if it were a warm-up for a national level show) as you want to have yourself squared away.

Thanks for the responses guys. I believe Im ready to do this show, but Im not putting my 100% focus on this one. I may carb just a little on Friday and cut the water a little bit, but thats about it. Also, I think it will help in finiding the right color, poses for my physique, etc. AND DID I MENTION.....IT WILL BE NICE TO HAVE A SATURDAY OFF WORK FOR A CHANGE!!!!!!!!

Edge250 is the man who helped me prep for my show so far, so I'll wait for his game plan to see what he wants me to do.

If my pics that I take turn out well tomorrow I'll post them.....?
