Water between end of prejudging and night show?

Open question- what do you guys do for water between end of prejuding and night show? Obviously, if you are not a class winner, you don't have to worry as much (i.e. you can drink all you want, practically speaking), but what if you are in in the hunt for the overall? Would like to see what has worked for various members of the board.
 
I drink a minimum of 6oz with every meal even when depleting water. A good way to "spill" on stage is to go zero water so that the body overheats and has to sweat in an effort to cool off.
 
yep, so many competitors make the huge mistake of cutting out their water completely. there are so many aspects that require you to keep some water in at a minimum. so to answer your question, at least keep sipping on water between shows

my last several shows i come back a totally different look than pre judging because i ate and because i intro'd more water back into my body

Agreed, 4-6 oz with each meal.
 
Considering thato ur bodies are 80% water and that alot of gear seems to react and provide fullness to the muscle by drinking water (offseason) I'm starting ti think the whole pulling water from the skin theory is nonsense. There are alot of atheletes on other sports that are lean and even ripped wothout these tricks. My next show I do I plan on using no radical gimmicks . My guess is that water depletion has kept MANY from being the best they can be.

To answer your question though , I highly doubt any deal breaking descisions are made at the night show and I don;t believe they should be.
 
I just sip on water between prejudge and night show...
 
Dusty- at the Jr's this last year, when you knew you had the class win, how did you handle water between prejudging and the night show? Still sipping 6 oz with meals or did you take in more?
 
This year I was drinking water backstage and 30 minutes before I hit stage I starting drinking more, I ended up pretty darn dry...if you lean as hell, dry as hell already, and ready, some water will not defeat you. You need some water present to activate some sort of fullness. I was still very dehydrated, but need water to function onstage.

People were all questioning my motive of why I was sipping on water - I want to survive and be able to compete onstage :)
