Anyone can recommend a good water filter countertop system based on their experience?
Below is what I mean:

Brand on these doesn't matter very much IMO, what matters more is how many stages of filtering it has and if it is reverse osmosis or not. If you're on a well in the country you may not need this nearly as badly as in town where they're trying to poison you with things like fluoride.

Curious to see responses. I’m looking at these as well. I know an under sink reverse osmosis unit is the best but these countertop applications are just so easy and convenient.

I was just about to order one from Amazon but will wait for others to chime in.

A padawan on this topic. Can you school me on the osmosis process in few words and what I should look into as far as specifications when purchasing a unit?

I have been looking into getting a Big Berkey.

I just use a filter through my refrigerator…. Then again I’ll drink tap water too if I’m feeling like some chlorine! My water is recycled from the dirty ass Mississippi River so you know it’s loaded with chemicals!

Was hopeful you would get some good responses. I am looking myself and was wanting to learn some wisdom. Thinking of a whole house triple with 20”x4.5” cartridge, it’s the pre filter micron size and silver carbon cartridge options got me reading. Our water is rainwater transferred from multiple large tanks and a shared treated mains. It goes from tasting amazing to horrible, want safe and constant Taste.

Currently using fridge filter but I go through them like every 20-30’days :( looking for a RO under sink system as well

I hear the water drop RO brand is suppose to be good. Specifically the tankless ones

I just bought a Jolie filter shower head for the wife and she seems to like that also but that’s a separate thing lol still worth mentioning if you live in a city with shitty water like we do!!

Since posting this thread, I have stumbled into the countertop reverse osmosis system which seems to deliver better quality water than the one with the pic posted above and even with no need to be installed under the sink, there seems to be only couple of them out there. I still hope more people respond back on this thread. The ones I am referring to look like the following:
