Hello everyone,
I searched for this topic all over the forums and got some answers here and there, but I thought I’d ask here.
Recently started with HGH supplementation, 1IU a day with no sides, then bumped up to 2 after a week. 2 days into it, I noticed the water retention bloat a bit, but my BP was noticeably higher. I have had some hypertension for decades which is controlled (usually 115-120 over 75/78, ) with amlodipine 10 and losartan 25 in the mornings.
Today, I saw it go to 140/86 most of the day.
I am sure holiday food and not being on point nutritionally didn’t help, but- I’ll take any advice.
If it helps: 53, M, 190# 5’8” 12% body fat.
For now I’m backing off to 1 IU and monitoring. I don’t understand how the water retention effect happens on GH, so I’m unsure what to do other than stopping altogether if dropping to 1 IU still increases my BP that much.
Again, open to all advice from the veterans here. Thank you all.
