Ways to combat Progesterone induced bloat?

Anything other than Dostinex/Bromo to help reduce the bloat from Progesterone i.e. Drol use? Aromatase inhibitors like Arimi/Letro have no effect but I swear I've read that Letro works. Can anyone shed some light on this...it would be most appreciated. Thanks.

i always take winny when i take drol and it works for me too.

Yeah that's what I was afraid of...I really don't want to run anything else with my current cycle.

You don't think with 25mg Proviron ED and 1.25ml Letrozole every 3rd day that it will somewhat combat Drol bloat? I'm taking 150mg Drol ED...maybe I should cut my dose down. Thanks for everyone's input.

That is correct - RU486 (mifepristone) is used to stop progesterone. Somehow, people have gotten confused and think bromo/dostinex do this, but that is incorrect. They control prolactin, not progesterone, although the two are related. As a matter of fact, they were principally created to control hyperprolactinenemia - and that is what they are prescribed for.

I see RU-486 going for $15 a pill...not really cost effective. I wonder how many RU-486 you'd have to take?

So is it still wise to use bromo or dostinex while using something like tren? If they lower prolacin whats another drug that controls progesterone besides mifepristone? THanks

sorry, I missed seeing this. Yes, bromo/dostinex are still helpful, because prolactin levels can be elevated with tren - even to point where nips are irritated/gyno like. But Mifepristone (progesterone receptor antagonist) is probably the best and most well known anti-progestin - so I'd go with that if you are seriously trying to control progesterone related bloating. Another option is the drug Trilostane which is a 3ß-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase inhibitor which reduces progesterone production. BTW, Trilostane is a competitive inhibitor of the 3ß-hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase (3ß-HSD) enzyme system with no intrinsic endocrine action, and inhibits the production of progesterone resulting in reduced plasma progesterone concentrations. It is not made in the US anymore, but might be available overseas. A third option is Danazol (Danocrine) which has been shown to reduce the effect of progesterone by inhibiting steroidogenesis and blocking the progesterone receptor. BTW, I have no idea how your gains would be affected by implementing any of these - there is no data that I know of on there concurrent use with anabolics to control progesterone.

And a final option which has had some gym-rat success is to use Winstrol concurrently which has been shown to have some anti-progestagenic effects. The combo might be a bit hard on your liver values though.

Without more research, thats all that comes to mind.
