We lost our baby today

My wife and I lost our baby today. My wife was 10 weeks pregnant, and it is very depressing. The doctor said it wasn't from anything we did, the baby just died somewhere around the age of 6 weeks as alot of them do the firt trimester. The doctor did say however that we could try again in another couple of months because it wasn't something that was out of the norm with our physical makeup. I miss him/her already. Thank you for listening, I just needed to vent.

I won't pretend to know what you are going through. I am 44 years old and have a wonderful 19 year old son. He is the joy of my life. I want you to know that I am praying for you and will request prayer for you at my church Wednesday night. I'm glad to hear, (as I'm sure you are), that you guys can try again. Take your time and don't rush it. It will happen and it will be the most special time of your lives. Again, I will remember you in my prayers.

Thanks Fellas. Very much appreciated. I could not believe the love I have for him/her this early on. It was amazing. I guess when you have the right girl, plan it and she gets pregnant, that is when you really appreciate it, like I did right off the bat. Anyway, fellas, thanks. My wife had the D & E today, so now we should be working on our way back out of the emotional slumber. Luckily we had a vacation planned to go down to St. Martin Jan 27th through Feb 6th. Well, hopefully we'll have better luck in a couple of months. Thanks again guys.

im totally speechless, and i cant speak from experience on this.. but i will say, i would imagine its the hardest thing for a couple to go through... stay strong. and love that woman.. love her like theres no tomarrow... seriously.. love her BIG TIME...

I haven't been a member of this board very long but I want you to know that I did, and am in fac still praying for you and your family. I want you to remember this: As much as you love that baby, which is one of Gods' special and mighty treasures, always remember that God loves you more than that. He sent his own son to die for you and I. That is an awsome love. I have a good feeling inside that God is looking down on your family and already knows the outcome of what is happening to you. Stay strong, but not so strong that you are afraid to cry. Let your lady know how much she means to you and that you aren't afraid to love her. She needs that now......but don't forget, although you are that man, you need that too. It's ok to be sad and cry.....to feel the loss. Like I said in the first sentence of this letter, although I haven't been a board member very long, I love you brother and any time you need to talk, send me a message and I'll be there for you. God has hisalmighty and powerful hand on your life.....rest easy in that brother.

Sorry to hear about this.....I have been there before and know exactly how you feel. Only time and knowing that it just wasn't the right moment eased the pain. It took a while but my wife and I have a beautiful 16 month old son now that I treasure even more.

It WILL get better, and you will never forget but the gift you and your wife will receive will be treasured more now than you would have ever thought. My prayers are with you.

a friend of mine and his wife lost thier baby in the same exact situation. i have never seen two people look so hurt and confused ever. especially his wife. she is the sweetest woman, and loves him so much...this crushed them both, especially her. like JT said, love her so much bro. if you are sad and depressed all the time, she might feel like she failed somehow, or that you are dissapointed in her. do everything you can to keep her fom feeling like that bro, bring her flowers, watch her favorite movie with her, get her favorite dinner...tell her everything will be ok...and believe it yourself as well. you know those two people i was just talking about...they now have 2 GORGEOUS kids, they are so much fun to play with, and just great kids in general. i believe everything Jeff Fox has said, He is in control, and knows whats best for you and your family. He wants to bless you and will in his time. god bless bro, ill be praying for you as well.

I've only been on this board for a short time, along with my wife who uses the name Simone (which was going to be our baby's name if she was a girl) as her handle on here, but the sincereness you bring forth is absolutly amazing. I came from Alinboard, and am not sure how many here are from there, but the respect issues you moderators and BigA bring forth are nothing short of inspiring. You make it so everyone is comfortable. Your kind words and feelings about situations help people accept the situation they are in and work towards a solution instead of becoming self destructive which I have done in the past. As a tear runs down my face, thank you very much.

As a side note, I want to publicly thank my wife for the woman she is. She has had patience with me, straightened me out, made me feel the worth of starting my own family. She is nothing short of amazing and gorgeous too. Thank you baby. We'll try again soon, honey.

Just so you decent people can put a name with a face, this is my beautiful wife and I July '05 when we got married in Aruba. Once again, thank you for all of your support. You definitely help ease the pain. The funny thing is, it almost helps more than family and friends. You expect family and friends to be there for you, accept you for what has happened in your life, but acceptance and caring from people you do not really know seems to make a real difference. We love you all.
