weight gain diet ideas ?

what is the best way to gain the most lean weight in shortest amount of time with the diet..i have the chemical thing down pat but i want calories not MG's or ML's to do it with..what woudl a good diet look like that is portable as i am in school all week...looking for ideas so i can preplan meals
 
favorite easy meal of mine is 2 scoops protein with 1 cup uncooked oatmeal blended in, and maybe 1 tbs of PB. that is my first 2 meals i eat when bulking which i drink during classes.

my g/f makes me something similir with egg whites in the morning.. she calls protein panacakes, not bad with low carb syrup..

You said lean gains so perhaps you are not looking for ways to eat more calories. But incase you are I cut out milk and now do not have bloat so it is EASY to get in 4800 calories and now actually find myself hungry sometimes.

Perhaps you can do the same.

Best thing I've found to do is prepare meals ahead of time. Make you food for the next week every sunday or whatever is best for you. Now on what foods you should eat I need some help with that area too. I"m getting tired of eating the same old stuff. Sweet potatoes, chicken, steak, tuna, oatmeal, whole wheat bread, rice, Natural peanut butter anyone else got some ideas?

also eggwhites, I cant give up the milk even though it does bloat me up like a ballon.
 
instant mashed tater in all flavors, ramon noodles, Zaterans flavored rice mixes, or liptons. oh, i like to eat Total protein cereal mixed with some whole bran ceral like kellogs, and either milk or soy milk. its great to give tastse buds a treat and still eat good. i like bfore going to sleep.

mac and cheese, just listing the easy stuff to fix.
 
Clean bulking food alternatives

At the risk of the proverbial electronic, "f@#k off!" full belly, i would like to expouse the benefits of cottage cheese, (its a near perfect food, LOL).
You are all thinkin this kiwi is crazy, but after recently immigrating to australia I was unable to find any of the brands of any kind of foods from new zealand. So I had to experiment, as a self confessed scientist of food it has been eye opening to say the least! case in point, we all know the benefits of cottage cheese; great protein content, approx 20% of which is glutamine, which if memory serves is the most abundant amino in circulation,(not to mention immunology support, cortisol blunting etc). but for some reason the girlier men among us complain of the taste/consistency/way it interferes with the taste of their "sculpt for women" powder! now to my syrprise, every brand is COMPLETELY different. one brand here has lots of juice, and uniform soft nuggets, no smell, mild taste, mmmm.
yet another "weight watchers low fat" is more the consistency of cream cheese, quite dry, cheesier tasting, and whipped(no lumps). now i think you can change brands depending on your diet phase, low carb chese on precontest, full fat for bulking(still modest amount of fat)

my fav cottage cheese meals:

250g low fat cottage cheese + 1 plum 31.6g pro / 9g fat / 21g cho

blended:
2 scoops pro powder(28g) + 125g cottage + 1/2 cup frozen berries
43.8g pro / 8.5g fat / 17.7g cho

2 scoops pro powder(28g) + 125g cottage + 1/2 cup berries + 1 cup raw oats
54.8g pro / 13.5g fat / 63.7g cho

NOw here is the winner, TREAT TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

make a cheese cake mix using the weight watchers cottage, by blending up with berries or fruit syrup extract of your choice.

make a cheesecake base using almond flour instead of flour, white carbs, (STARCH) kills.

put bae in tin, put mix on top, cover with fruit or weight watchers low carb jelly, you could add gelatine, but i think unneccessary.

this can be a very low carb, high unsaturated fat, high protein treat.

your unsuspecting family will never know, as it tastes GOOOOOOOOOD!!!!!!!!!

i hope someone will try these recipies, add your own flair, and tell me, as even i like variation............................ :p

Lamb salad on roids

Why not consider a lamb salad on "roids"

low carb, good fats, high protein

200g uncooked lamb
2 cups baby spinach leaves
1oz goats feta
1 oz plain cashews

cooked lamb lightly + slice thinly
mix crumbled feta + cashews thru spinach
place lamb round salad,
drizzles some ranch dressing over.

IF you are entertaining, top with shaved sweet potatoe.
- use a potatoe peeler to shave a sweet potaote, coat the slivers in olive oil and bake in a oven tray, fan bake just like cooking fries


serve this to a girlie with a cucumber salad to start and licorice(natural) for dessert and shes yours, i promise :cool:
 
You could try consuming calorie dense foods such as nuts so you dont have to eat so much. I think 100 g of macadamia nuts will give you 718 kcals. So in one handful of macadamia you are getting almost 1000 calories.


By the way...macadamia is a native tree of Australia...I think dont they grow in Kiwiland :D

Try this for.....

part of your breakfast, lunch or snack. I've been messing around with different recipes for protein shakes and I think this one is my favorite...It's addicting!

2 scoops Isopure chocolate protein powder
1 half carton pastuerized egg whites
8 oz fat free plain yogurt
2 TB natural peanut butter
4 oz water
5 ice cubes
2 ts equal or splenda
1 ts glutamine

throw it all in a blender - tastes like liquid reeses peanut butter cup!

660 cal
95 g protein
16 g fat
25 g carbs

I have this 3 x a day plus other food.
 
I'm being Serious...

...try the tuna shakes man. I was drinking them with Applejuice and thought they were ok. The other day I ran out of juice and made it with crystal lite orange juice the one that taste like sunny delight and now I'm hooked. I could drink them all day.

but in deference to science I will try your tuna shake. what exactly goes in it?

egg white protein raw?

hey joeyt. do you actually absorb the protein from raw egg whites? literature ive come across says minimally????????? if you got the scoop let me know, cos i wanna try your shake, sounds big bro!
 
I'm not

really sure about protien absorption, this shake has an incredibly high protien count....it sure makes it taste good though and I believe the eggs are more for the caloric count give the fact that just about every ingredient in this shake has protien in it. I can't see why the protien wouldn't be there though, if it's in the food naturally, it shouldn't matter if it's raw or cooked. However pasteurized egg whites technically are cooked.
