I havent touched one of these things in 10 years...

But now its a REAL struggle to eat what I need too.
12 scoops of protein 12 TBP of olive oil is rough man!

I was thinking getting a weightgainer that has high protein, good fats and higher carbs. It will make eating 600-700 cals ina meal musch easier. Only problem is that most weight gainer have lots of carbs in their drink.. 100+. . Im so used to eating low carbs that Im thinking maybe what I need is that!

Or am I much better off keep adding olive oil to add calories.

Ingredients

I use Fusion from Sann. It has 47g of protein, 12g of fat w/ 4 being saturated and 11g of carbs. You might try XXL (from Science Foods, I think) drinks that are premade and have over 100g of carbs.
 
The thing about weight gainers is that they are LOADED with sugar. 80% of the carbs in them are from sugar. Just make your own weight gainer at home.
 
thats my problem... I work in an office and dont really have time to make my shakes.. just needed something quick and efficient that I could take a few times per day...

Protein is great but sometime i have nothing to mix it with so I eat straight protein.

Im a parent so my goal is getting my 2 year old ready for daycare! lol
 
You eat straght protein powder?

Try taking 15 minutes every night and making your own weight gainer in the blender. Then put it in something and take it to work. :)

I dont even know where to begin, Im so used to the low carb crap that I usually put 2 scoops protein 1 cup of milk 1 tb olive oil..
 
yeah, but I don't do low carbs so it might be harder for you.

I use eggs, pb, ice cream, protein, oil, carb powder and chocolate syrup.
 
damn...

carbo powder? hmmm... that would probably be better.. and cheaper. Put protein in there with some carbo powder and presto ass water...

thats an idea.. Im thinking about adding some carbs also...

never went over 350g in the last 6-7 years.. maybe my body needs that now.

this stuff i have been drinkin is great. cytogainer has some really good flavors. and there is like no sugar in them. its awesome. tastes great. mint choc chip is the best.
also this stuff called carbo hit is the bomb. straight dextrose (i think) it is pure complex carbs with no flavor. actually it tastes a little tiny bit like hair spray. but hell it totally dissolves in to water until its clear. try it out. you will love it.
 
Try 4 scoops of Beverly International's Ultra Size plus 4-8oz of heavy whipping cream. Throw in a couple of strawberries for some more flavor. You can get around 1100 cals in one shot with very low carbs.

you can put the carbo hit in to anything liquid. i add it to my protein only shakes. makes it a little sweeter and more carb dense.
 
weight77 is right a lot of weight gainers are loaded w/ sugar like that GNC crap..but if u can get some SCI-FIT makes a great mass gainer...see if u can get a hold of it
 
i buy protein powder complex carb powder dextrose and flax seed oil and make my own weight gainers thats the best way in my opinion. most weigh gainers have crappy protien and carbs, this way you get quality everything and it works out being roughly the same.

sci fit does make an excellent extreme mass drink.
i thought the wildberry was the best tasting
