weight training and yoga

ok, i know this is prob a gay topic, but for me its a serious concern...i no long do any cardio, i do bikram yoga instead, which is a thousand times more difficult and its actually an hour and a half, compared to any cardio i did which was only 30 mins...so anyway, does anyone have any idea how to fit this into your schedule? alternate days? like mon, weight train, tue, yoga, wed weight train and so on and so forth...ive been tryin to do them both on the same day, wieght training always first and yoga as late in the day as i poss can, but after doin both i almost have no energy left for anything else in the day...twice this week i got in my car after yoga and literally jus sat there for like 25 mins contemplatin how i was gona make it home cus of how fukin tired i was lol...my preference is to do yoga a min of 5 days a week and weight train jus as much, my priority is weight training, cus its my hobby and been doing it for the last 10 yrs but yoga i feel is more important, with its emotionaly, mental, and physical benefits
 
I think that your question is how to incorporate yoga into your weight training schedule?
If that's the case my answer is this: train lower volume. Something like Big A's MWF routine, or DC if you are at that level. Then you could do yoga on off days like Tue. and Thur. and maybe once on the weekend, or is yoga something you want to do everyday? I know that bikram stuff can be fairly intense, so you definately need some recovery time. Does your schedule allow you to weight train in am and do yoga in PM or vice versa?
 
I don't get to my Bikamm studio enough.
I used to have to drive 40 minutes + class 1.5 hours, + 40 minutes back. So 3+ hours out of my day.
Fortunately they just opened a studio that is much more convenient for me.
I feel the benefits are extrodinary and wish I could get to it twice a week on my off days. Try it...
It is challanging. If I have not been for a month or more I will generally drop about 7-8lbs of water in one class, even if I down liter of water during class. A shower from the inside out they say :D.
And yeah no way I am training on the same day as yoga.
Anyway I am glad you posted. I need to get it there asap..

well i def need to get to bikram way more then twice a week, so thats my issue...for the most part i work out around noon, so im gona try an get to bikram on my way home from work around 530pm..hopefully i can get there 5 times a week lol

yup, i had the same exact issue! the usualy bikram studio id go to was about 40mins from me, which kept me very limited in the amount of times per week i wud go...usually around once a wee...i just started at this fairly new studio 5mins from my house and ive already been there 4 times in the last 8 days...the more you go the easier it is to get used to the heat, by far

Na, its a diff one...bro I went dy again, 2hrs afta my chest workout, wow that was fuckin ruff, but feel fantastic aftawards...gone 3 days str8, and 5 times in last 9 days...fuk yea!
