weird sensation after riding the bike

I've been hitting the bike at the gym after weight training for cardio cuz i've been having some issues with my knee. But lately I've been having some weird sensations after getting off the bike lately and don't know if I'm gonna continue riding the bike... anyway, as soon as i get off the bike and start walkin, i get this numbing tingle from my ass to my penis. ya, at first it felt kinda nice (no homo), but then it kinda started to hurt. Was wondering if anyone else experienced this...
 
ive have not but there are a lot of studies about riding bike and reproductive damage due to pressure on the spot u sit. i would try changing bikes if they have another with a different seat, also try moving where ur sitting every few minutes to change where the pressure is at
 
Your bike it set-up incorrectly, too much pressure
where you don’t want it. Also, it could be, in the
long run, not so good for your knees if you have
an improper set-up.

A good spin bike has adequate adjustments to
remedy that. But not all “cardio gym” bikes do
sorry to say have that. Seat height it is about it.

Find somebody who knows about this and have
them help you set-up your bike. You should not
be feeling what you are feeling. Not normal.

If all else fails, try a recumbent bike if they have them.

hours each and every day riding; training and competing.
They were mostly pros. The new seats also take this
pressure point into consideration but sadly I have yet
to see one at my gym.

Agree, I have ridden a road bike for years. Seat adjustment sounds like the issue. Don't bounce around just adjust your butt occasionally as you ride. Basically you are cutting off the blood supply causing the numbness. Only riding time will help your butt get use to it. While seated on the bike, try adjusting the seat so at the top the upstoke your quad is parralell to the floor. See how this works.
 
Bike Shorts...

not only stylish:eek: but functional! Extra cushion. I wear them under gym shorts when I ride my mountain bike. At the gym i only ride the recombent bike more comfortable!!

Sounds like your pelvic floor muscle getting aggravated.
