Weird shot reactions

Ok.. lets put our heads together.. a buddy of mine who has been using for around 8 years is having recent odd reactions.. he takes a shot of test and his " tongue swells up and gets itchy".. first time he told me he was using test enth and primo enth from the same manufacturer.. I told him maybe the carrier etc.. so he changed brands and esters.. nothing has worked. He has used gear for years and never a issue until the last few months.. three brands.. different esters .. same issue. Beyond odd..

My thoughts too. But to just start is odd.. and the carrier in the brands were all different .. unless it's the best or ba

I’ll tell you I started having the same problem years ago after going ten years plus with no problems whatsoever. It got to point where I’d get anxious to even inject anymore and I was a daily injector. I would take a shot, didn’t matter what compound it was or where I’d inject it, and within a minute I would get extremely flushed, blurred vision, dizzy and omg the itching.
The itching would last for 30 minutes. Imagine beta alanine x 100. Didn’t matter what source I used or what oil carrier I used. I reacted the same to each one. No pip the next day, just the sides after the majority of my injections. I tried heating the oil, going slow with the injections. Nothing worked.
Then I said fuck it, this HAS to be an allergic reaction. So I started using Costcos generic Allegra and would wait about an hour later to inject. I’m telling you it was a miracle, no reactions.
I’ve been doing this for quite a while now and maybe I get a little flushed a couple times a month, but the reaction is nothing like what I used to experience.

This, try using an anti histamine and see if it helps, if so well then its deff some sort of allergic reaction.

It's most likely - I've seen this happen more than once, and it happened to guys who had been using Gear for 15-20 years - at some point they developed an allergy to BA.

Maybe your buddy should start experimenting with brewing his own gear to tailor his products to his needs? Maybe brew things at a lower MG amount so it doesn't need as much BA/BB? He could also pick his own carrier oils. Wonder how he would respond to micro dosing small amounts daily versus larger volume injections?

I told him last night to try taking benadryl an hour before the shot.. see if it helps.. we shall see..

It’s actually pretty common with things we consistently put into our body. This is the one downsides to being a bodybuilder who eats the same things 6 times a day and uses the same compounds.

Yup. I developed a shellfish allergy at 27 years old after eating it my whole life. Sucks lol

I've had a bad experience with EO solvent as I got something akin to an infection which was so painful and itchy I stopped using that gear. Took a week to clear up after stopping use.

Same happened to me I’ve had dogs all my life. My parents always had family dogs. And a few years ago I went in for an allergy test. Which by the way they put over 80 needles in me no joke . And the only one came back was I’m allergic to dogs wtf. I have a dog and no way I’m get rid of him. And I’m 53

Since BB is a preservative and an alcohol, do we need the ba in the mix? And at only 2% ba is that enough to cause allergies?
