That's how my mom came into being. Another military guy had a one night stand with her mother while her husband was fighting in WWII. Same goes for women who cheat on their husbands while they're deployed. I had a friend, awesome guy, who literally JUST got married before he went to Iraq. She proceeded to cheat on him as soon as he left. When he got back, she immediately filed for divorce and married the other guy. Oh, and they got divorced soon after, as well...

Her and my friend had a kid together, too. Everyone who knew the couple cut her off completely. Of course she was posting all over social media how people gave up on her for no reason, that they have no right to judge, STRONG WOMAN, etc... Lol.

Shit, ive seen both sides. Down range dudes bang all kinds of woman, married deployed chicks, etc. On the other side, if a chicks husband is serving in a Tier 1 unit, he is not home much between deployments, training cycles. Its not a lifestyle which is easy on relationships.
